Arida rose. "Uh," she began. "I'm Arida... I'm just passing through. Your name?"

She smiled. "Reese."

Arida nodded. "My name is Arida."

"Cute name." Reese commented. "Uh... You look famished. You can have a bite or two if you want."

[Iri]

Arida flattened her ears. "Thank you very much," she said graciously as she took a few quick mouthfuls of the animal carcass. "Thanks, that helped." She dipped her head gratefully.

Reese nodded. "You're welcome. You can stay in my territory for a while, I'm sure my mate wouldn't mind."

[Iri]

"Your mate?" Arida said curiously.

[Kipekee]

"Cole. He's the ruler of the territory around here. But he's not at home. He's tan with green eyes, you can't really miss him." Reese purred. "Well, I gotta finish here, I'm eating for five."

[Iri]

Arida purred. "Well, if your mate wouldn't mind, I'd stay, but only for a while," she said. "And you're going to have cubs? That's marvelous!"

"These cubs aren't his. We already have three cubs, but they're all off on their own. Actually, you just met one of them. Isabelle. I'm her physical mother." Reese purred. "Not spiritually, just the mother of her...body, I guess."
