Attack of Zuberi

[Adofo]

Adofo started tearing up and held Anga close. Then he looked up to the sky.
Adofo: Father...thank you for giving me a second chance at life!

[Iri]

Anga purred. "And... Dad, you know... when I was a cub, I told my parents I would be the best daughter I could be," she said. "But apparently, to them, I failed. At first... I thought it was my fault. My fault that I had been driven out. Then after you took me in, I realized I didn't need to keep any sort of promise to them. Because I had you as my father."

[Adofo]

Adofo pulls Anga up and sets her in his lap.
Adofo: Anga.....you are so special to me! So young yet so full of wisdom! My baby girl!
*kiss* Love you angel!

[Iri]

Anga purred again and nuzzled Adofo's chin. "I love you too, Dad, and I always will," she murmured.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Its late. Lets wait till tomorrow to continue our search.
He brings Anga closer and makes her lay her head on his chest. He takes his hoodie off and drapes it over them like a blanket.
Adofo: Honey....can i ask you a question? When you first saw me, what were you thinking? Since, you know, i was the first human you ever met.

[Iri]

Anga had to ponder for a moment about that. "I was... scared," she admitted. "Scared because you were taller than the lions in the pride. A bit nervous, too." She scuffled her forepaw on the ground in embarrassment.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hehehe! Well....what was going through your head when i asked you to be my daughter?

[Iri]

Once more, Anga had to ponder again. "When you asked me, I was excited but nervous. I was wondering whether I'd really fit in, and it turns out I do!" she purred.

[Adofo]

Adofo: You sure do! One last question. How do you feel when you call me dad?

[Iri]

Anga knew the answer to this one immediately. "Proud to call you my father and happy because I have a father, a father a thousand times better than my other father," she said.
