Simba: Nzinga, whats wrong with your dad? He's been acting weird all week.

Nzinga: *Growls* He's convinced that Mufasa and Sarabi didn't love him and it's driving me insane, I've talked to him a thousand times yet he still won't listen... or doesn't want to listen, and now I'm feeling useless and stupid because nothing I say makes any difference!

[Adofo]

Simba: Oh! Well....your dad.....you don't know what its like growing up like he did. Cubs from other prides teased him. Adult from other prides looked down on him. And when our dad died.....well before he made a promise to keep everyone in the pride safe. And when Scar killed him......he always blamed himself.

[Iri]

Nzinga: Well, he shouldn't blame himself. What excuse does he have to blame himself?

[Adofo]

Simba: Because he was blamed his whole life for "ruining" the pridelands. He was tormented so much as a kid, it was drilled into him. You can't understand. All you can know is that you just need to be there to comfort your dad. Be his baby girl. After awhile he'll come around. I can help you if you want. And i suggest all the family help.

[Iri]

*Nzinga bristles a little, annoyed and angry.*
Nzinga: What exactly do you mean by "I can't understand"? I was abandoned at early age by Desta, taken in by Kuruka, who was hardly a mother, and then I had Arida, a cub whom I had to give up, and watch her grow, without her knowing I was her mother until now! How do you think that felt, Simba? Do you think I liked that?!

[Adofo]

Simba: Were you ever hated? Looked down on? Despised? Your father had to go through a lot. Also he lost your mom, my parents, even me for a long time. And he has to keep his parentage a secret from Xerai's cubs. Just comfort him. He's your father.

[Iri]

Nzinga: Yes, I was hated! I was looked down upon! I was despised! I've gone through a lot as well! Adofo isn't the only one who's suffered, Simba!

[Adofo]

Simba: I know. But that was before he knew you were his. If he had known he would have done anything to protect you.

Nzinga: I'm just saying, he has no reason to take the blame for Mufasa's death and certainly has no reason to believe that Mufasa didn't love him! He's being unreasonable! He knows perfectly well that Mufasa loved him, and he knows perfectly well that it wasn't his fault that Mufasa died!
