Best case scenario: if I made a 100 on the test and I calculated my homework/quizzes correctly, I could have a 79.4 in the class. We'll just say my highest grade possible is 80.

Now, if my homework and quiz grades are calculated correctly, I needed to make a 79 on that test to get my 74 and pass the class.

If my homework and quiz grades weren't calculated correctly (meaning I did poorer on those than I think), then I needed to make an 87 on that last test to pass this class.

The good news is, I probably made a 95 or greater on that last test. There are only a few things I could have points taken off from. I didn't draw the centroid location from the origin, even though I gave the coordinates. Not sure if he'll care about that. I also didn't draw the centroid locations for the FBD on the shear and moment diagram, so I may lose a point or two for that. Again, not sure. I may have gotten some T/F questions wrong, so I may have lost a few points there, too. But, all in all, I prolly made at least a 95. Possibly a 100 if I'm being too conservative.

Edit: dammit. I now see that I messed up the friction problem. I think...

Edit 2: No, I did it right. Stop worrying about this, Regs. You know what you're doing. You actually got the right answer there, and you used the right process to do it.

I freaking hope he doesn't take off points for the fact that I just wrote the equations down directly from the distributed loads, as opposed to converting the distributed loads into their resultant forces. Ugh.

If I was the professor, I wouldn't care 1% about that. But I'm not the professor. He specified to use the cut method... and I did. But I don't like the cut method, and I don't see it as being necessary. Of course I'm going to skip a little something on the diagram, because I don't need it to get the answer in the first place. Ugh... there goes 10pts.

You know, this is where he would probably say it really doesn't matter that I get the right answer using the right process. What matters is that I label everything. God, I hope not. I want my frikkin points. That was such an easy problem, and I know I did it correctly. I should get full credit for it.
