What did you like best of the music in The Lion King?

It's powerful and is quite catchy.

Music and the storyline goes together.

The music is part of the driving force of the movie itself. It sets the underlying tones of the film and without it, the experience wouldn't be the same. Much like everyone before me stated, the music goes paw in paw with the storyline itself. :)

What I love most about it is the energy you can feel in every song. It's so passionately done.

Everything! :D

The music and lyrics are pure genius. They are all so deep, meaningful, beautiful, and even fun, scary or romantic. (depending on what song you’re listening to,lol)

But in my opinion, the scores, the pieces without lyrics, are the most powerful. They have a much stronger effect on you, they convey emotions and moods a hundred times better than the songs. They are just so.. strong, they pull you in and you become absorbed by them.

I totally agree with PrincessKiara! I feel like I want to cry when I hear the instrumental tunes!

One word: STAMPEDE

This is the most powerful and dramatic music I've ever heard. Seriously, if you've never heard the complete score, you're missing out! Badly! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdOkwjEAXBk

I can't belive someone could write something like that...I can't describe how I feel when I listen to it.

While on the subject of music, check out Kung Fu Panda and Mulan music...not as good, but certainly up there with the greats!
