[Iri]

Thamani is the opposite of her mischievous sister, Ndege. She is very mature, calm, and wise. She likes to listen to stories and enjoys telling her own stories. She often gets irritated by her sister's antics.
Her mother was a loner, but she died giving birth to Thamani and Ndege, leaving no father to care for them. After their father had found out that their mother was going to have his cubs, he ran away, not wanting to father them.
Starving and lonely, Thamani and Ndege were led to a pride by Kijinga, Laana and Kulia, who were also orphans, and soon, the five became fast friends.
