Haramu swallowed, then nodded his head.
"Yes. ...I-I'm sorry, mom." He hesitated after saying that. Mom. He looked at his mom and dad, then backed away from them. "Adofo's my dad now. Go back home."

[Adofo]

Adofo: If any of you touch my boy again I'll turn you into my next pair of shoes!
The leopards all take off.
Mother: Well........if that's what you really want.....okay!
Father: Just know that.....we will ALWAYS love you son!
The two give their boy one last hug goodbye.
Mother: We love you so much!

Haramu held onto them a little longer before recoiling.
"I love you, too." He stepped back from them and turned, going to Adofo.

[Adofo]

Mother: You take good care of him!
Father: Better than we did!
Adofo: I will!
Mother: ........Thank you!
The two walk off, leaving Adofo and Haramu behind.
Adofo: Wow.......you gave up your real parents.......to be with me....

Haramu looked down at his paws, shifting his weight.
"Yeah, I guess I did, huh?" He looked up at Adofo, offering a half-smile. He nudged Adofo, then winced as he did so from some wounds he had received from the leopard. "I've got to learn how to defend myself better, too."

[Adofo]

Adofo knelled down and gave Haramu a big hug.
Adofo: I love you son! ......If you want....I can train you.

Haramu perked slightly and stood.
"Yeah! You've gotta train me hard. Then I can do my share of protection." He unsheathed his claws and rocked on his haunches.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay! Let's get started!
Later that night, the two are tired from their long day.
Adofo: WOO! You've tired me out son! You're getting really good at this!

Haramu flopped down in the cave and huffed.
"You think so? Good like you?" He looked up at Adofo.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah! You are my son aren't you?! Hehehehe.....some say....I used to take after my dad. Even though I was adopted, I kept training hard to become strong. Just like him! .......I really miss him.
