"DAD!!" Haramu struck the cage so hard, he nearly toppled his own cage over. He stared at his dad, then slunk closer to check over his wounds. He couldn't get close enough. "Dad? ...Adofo?" he breathed, then glared at the others and roared, trying to swipe at them through the bars again. "What did you do to him?! Let us go!" He looked back at Adofo, unsure what emotion to feel first. He was so angry with him, but at the same time, he was very concerned about him. What did they do to him?!

[Adofo]

Adofo: Ha-....Haramu.....son? Ugggh. That was awful!
Reed: You think that's awful, you should see what we're going to do when the sun comes up!
Adofo: What will you do?
Reed: All in due time! Come on boys. Let's rest up!
They head into their huge trailers. Leaving the pridelanders all alone.
Adofo: Son......I'm sorry......I know you must be extremely angry with me! I'm so so sorry! I treated you as bad as I ever could! It was the worst thing I could ever do to you! That guy back there.....it wasn't me......I was just.....so angry......and I took it out on you.......a father should NEVER do something like that to his son! *A single tear drips from Adofo's eye and lands on Haramu's tail.* You must despise me!I know I don't deserve your forgiveness, but I'm begging for it! I'll do anything to make it up to you!!!!! I'm so sorry son! I am a horrible father!!! The worst father EVER!!!! Please forgive me!

Haramu curled up against the side of his cage after a while, the cold metal bars pressing against his skin and sending chills through his body. He swallowed and looked at Adofo as he spoke and cried. He wanted to forgive him, but something told him not to.
"I've never seen you that angry before... Sure, you were upset at me a few weeks ago, but... this Adofo was different." His gaze averted to Adofo's clawmarks. "Are you okay? Simba struck you pretty hard..."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah.....I'm fine.....it's just.....what I heard.....it set me off! But I swear I'll never NEVER act like that again! Son......I'm begging you......please forgive me! I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to you! I swear! Please son! I can't......I can't live without you!!!

Haramu looked down at his paws.
"I just want to go home...!" He rested his head on his paws and stared outside the cage. "There's too much going on. ...You sounded like them. I never heard that much hate in your voice before. You really did turn into them. ...But I will forgive you." He sniffles quietly, glancing at Adofo. "Please don't ever sound like that again."

[Adofo]

Adofo lays down next to his son and hugs him through the bars.
Adofo: I won't son!! ......I won't!!!*kiss* I love you so much!

Haramu leaned more against the bars, his paw wrapping over his arm. This time he wanted Adofo's warmth.
" ... Are we going to die? " he whispered quietly, tears beginning to drip on the bottom of the cage.

[Adofo]

Adofo: No son! I'll never let that happen to you! ........Simba.....i'm so sorry.
Simba: It's okay. Hey, where did you get that scar on your back?
Adofo: Oh..... Zuberi, from when we were kids.
Simba: Thats what i thought.
Adofo: I mean..... Back there i just got so upset with what you said! I'm sorry!
Simba: What I said?
Adofo: yeah, about you and me not being brothers. Me being a freak and my parents being dumb.
Simba: I never said anything like that! And I actually got mad at you for talking bad about all of us and mom and dad.
Adofo: What!? I'd never do that!
Simba: me either!

Haramu swallowed, looking between them, his paws over his head.
"What? ...This was all because of a misunderstood conversation? You two fought about this, but didn't even say these things? What's going on?"

[Adofo]

Reed: Hehehehe. You wild beasts are so easy to manipulate! You see there's this modern thing called audio editing. Where I just get a good number of samples of your voice and I can make it sound like you say anything! It's actually pretty cool! So that's right,I set you up against each other!
Adofo: Why you.......when my uncle hears about this!
Reed: What? What will he do?! He's the one that came up with the plan after all! And the one from twenty yearsago.....with your parents.
Adofo: What are you talking about?!
Reed: Ugh....let me explain. Your uncle was fed up with always being second best to your father! The company was really taking off! Then you came! Your mother and father spent all their time with you and blah blah blah, he decided to get his due! So he suggested to them to take you over the land and show you the natural beauty. BUT before they left, he sort of played with the wiring and mechanics of the plane you took off in.
Adofo: He........he.......he killed my parents.....
Reed: Bingo genius! Now then, the sun is starting to come up! Time to start!
Reed opens up Haramu's cage. The hunters had guns pointed at his head so Haramu wouldn't do anything stupid.
Adofo: NO!!!!!
Adofo grabbed Reed by his shirt and repeatedly slammed his head against the bars. Some of the hunters rip him free and shut Haramu's cage.
Reed: OHHH!!! YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!! THAT'S IT!!!! YOU'RE GOING FIRST!!!!!
