Haramu glanced at Simba, then looked back at Adofo.
"I'm sorry... I-I didn't know about your dad... But, you couldn't have saved him. At least not from what I've been told... You and Simba were too Little. But, Adofo. I never said you couldn't be my dad. ...I still love you. Things are just... Different for me. I'm really, really sorry. Please don't be upset..."

[Adofo]

Adofo: No......I'm sorry.....but Hamaru....Listen. If you really want to be back with your real parents......maybe I can do something.....you just don't seem that happy with us anymore......if you want to be with your real parents then....well........all I want is for you to be happy. And clearly......I don't make you happy.

"You do make me happy. It's seeing you start to become them that doesn't make me happy. I'm happy for you. But I'm selfish… you think I want to go back to them? Who want me dead? Who wish I never existed? You think that will make me happy?!" He turned his head away, tears rolling down his face. "I'm an accident and a burden. A burden on them and a burden on you for trying to keep you to myself."

[Adofo]

Adofo: No! No Haramu! You've never been a burden to me!I've always worried I've been a burden to you!
He wipes away the tears from Haramu's face.*
Adofo: I will always love you! No matter what! Okay? But...can you just be a little nicer? YOu don't to worry about anyone stealing me away from you! Because no matter what, I'll never be like them! I'll always be who I am now! And right now, I'm your daddy! I love you son!
Adofo pulls Haramu in for a hug and he rubs his back and holds Haramu's head to his shoulder.

"You'll never become one of them... even if Christen were to ask you to? Even if she asked you to?" He tilted his head against his shoulder, pressing closer against him. "If she does... It'll be okay." He pulled back enough to look at him. "I promise."

[Adofo]

Adofo: I promise that'll never happen! So.....am I still your dad?
Simba: And am I still your uncle?

Haramu looked at Adofo, then at Simba.
"Yeah. ...And I'm sorry about the behavior. I'll work on it."

(I was trying to set up the fight for when they get captured...)

(They don't get captured......yet. It's coming)
Adofo: It's okay!
Simba: Yeah! Come on. Let's get back to sleep!
A few weeks pass and the pridelanders are really enjoying the good life of the city.
Simba heads up to Jacks office to get Adofo. The door to his office is slightly open. He can hear Jack talking and Adofo talking.
Jack: But I thought you liked being with them!
Adofo: Please, a bunch of flea bitten smelly disgusting animals!?!?! I've just been staying with them to work my way up to getting here! They actually think I'm "one of them"! And my so called "parents" were the worst! Mufasa couldn't even figure out Scar was no good! What a big fat moron!
Simba backed away slowly. He got really angry and went to go talk to the pride. HE got in the elevator and went down.
Reed: Charile! There you are! Say your uncle wants a word with you up in his office!
Adofo: Oh. Okay!
Adofo takes the second elevator and heads up to his uncles office.
Adofo: YOu wanted me?
Jack: Yes Charlie! I'm afraid I have something a little....hard...to show you.
He hits play on his TV and a video showing Simba sitting by himself and he's talking to himself.
Simba: Wow. This place is awful! But hey, that's what I should expect from those freakish humans! I can't believe I came all this way for him! "Brother" PAH! If you're not a lion, you're not my family! And if his real parents were so smart, why'd they crash that plane?!!?! Unless they just wanted to get rid of Adofo so badly. That I can understand!
The video end. Adofo is horrified.
Adofo: Si-....Simba......
Jack: I'm so sorry you saw that but....I figured you needed to know.
Adofo: I can't believe this!!!!
Adofo storms out and heads down in the elevator.
Outside the whole pride is gathered.
Simba: HEY!
Adofo: HEY! I'VE GOT A BONE TO PICK WITH YOU!!!

Haramu didn't understand what was happening fully. He looked at Simba, unsure how to respond. He'd never seen him so angry. Especially at Adofo. There must be a mistake.
"Adofo, what's he talking about?" He started padding towards him tentatively.
