So I might be able to sit in at a friends group session...witch is good I guess, seeing that I have the same issues as everybody there. Now I don't know if Im more nervice about me going, or people finding out that I went.

Okay. Wow. Part of that was my fault, but seriously... my method still worked. That still would have given me the right answer. It just would have taken me longer to get it. I just didn't quite realize I was being tested on the other, more efficient method. I thought I was doing it right, and I was doing it right... but I was being graded on my ability to show the process of doing it the other way, and not my ability to get the right answer.
Okay, well at least I know what I did wrong. I think. Note to self: next time I'm taught two ways to solve a problem, I need to make sure I can solve it both ways, even though one way will still work every time. Lesson learned.

And, as a side note... why is it that I can relate so much more to people who are in their middle ages or older? I've been noticing a pattern recently, and it's starting to freak me out. A lot of the time, I seem to think more similarly to old men in their 40's, 50's, and 60's than men in their 20's.
