A collab is where one person draw something and so does the other. Heres an old one i did with dottyspottyfan http://www.mylionking.com/fan/art/Artis ... work=12078
A commision is where someone offers you payment for you to draw something for them. Example, if i asked to pay u a dollar for a pic of Adofo.
And a design trade, you ask what they want. Say they want a male adult lion with natural colors. You design it for them. And when you title it say "DT with ______"
