[Adofo]

Adofo: You're on OUR land! So that gives us every right to be concerned!

"Your-?" The three looked at each other before they tossed their heads back in booming laughter. The trembling figure beneath them attempted to rise and get away. "You're kidding! You, lion, belong back with your kind. Human, do you realize what we are? Any of us could easily decide to maul you. And this land belongs to no one, which is exactly why we're here in the first place!" They looked down at the figure and pushed it back down. "we have taken this sin out here to... 'eliminate' the possibilities of it spreading its impurity amongst others." They looked at Simba, who was fuming. "Perhaps you should keep a better look out of your pathetic females."

Simba stepped forward, bristling slightly.
"There will be none of this in the Pridelands. As king, I demand you step away from that poor creature."

A leopard tilted its head to the side, eyes narrowed.
"King? What are you talking about?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: That's right! He is the king of this land! And I am the vice king!
*He pulls out his bone machete weapon to show off.*
Adofo: I suggest you take his advice and just leave.

The two smaller and more aggressive leopards studied the human's weapon and snarled. The larger, older one studied it as well before he nudged the others, signalling them to stop.
"We know when it's time to stop. We should be heading back." The two others gaped at him, eyes full of disbelief. But the one simply shouldered past them. "We've done what was requested of us. And we are out-numbered. Three leopards against a lion and man with a weapon. Haven't either of you learned anything?" he scolded. He lifted his gaze to Adofo and Simba and merely dipped his head before turning and ushering the two away. Simba followed them to make sure they left.

The trembling spotted figure rose to a weak crouch to see the weapon. His eyes stretched wide and he ducked back down against the ground. He looked to be a leopard, but... he was much smaller and scruffier. He cowered away from Adofo, favoring a foreleg that appeared to be bleeding quite heavily.
"G-go ahead. Finish me off! It's what they brought me here for!" he wailed, closing his eyes tightly as he braced himself.

[Adofo]

Adofo: What?! No! I'm not gonna hurt you!
*He puts his weapon away*
Adofo: Are you okay?
* He extended his arm out towards the little cub*
Adofo: I won't hurt you!

(I saw your post. So far, I enjoy our roleplay. c: I was just getting some work done.)

He opened his eyes and lifted his gaze to Adofo's arm. There wasn't a weapon, and he seemed genuine... He slowly started to rise again, but dropped back into a crouch when Simba returned.

"They've left the Pridelands. I do not think they will return anytime soon." Simba approached Adofo, but paused when he saw the cub. "This? They brought you here?" He walked to Adofo, ears perked with interest. "Who are you?"

The spotted cub looked down, shuffling his paws.
"They call me Haramu. I'm not wanted."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Oh man. You're hurt pretty bad! Come on. I'll heal you at our home!
*He carefully picks up the young little cub and carries him home in his arms*
Adofo: Well Haramu, my nae is Adofo. Vice King of the Pridelands. And this is my little brother, Simba. The King of the Pridelands. And this is our home Priderock! I'll fix you up inside.
*The three travel up into the cave where Adofo lays the little cub down on a bed of soft grass.*
Adofo: Okay, I'm going to rub this mixture of crushed plants into your wounds. It'll hurt for a second but you'll start to feel better really soon!
*He takes some ground up plants and wipes it into all the cubs wounds. And the cub screams from the stinging pain.*
*Adofo: I know! I know! Just leave it for a second and it'll feel really good!

The cub bit down on his tongue to silence his cries and he looked away, ears flattened against his scruffy and spotted head.
"It doesn't feel good now!" He tried inching away from Adofo, trembling more than he was when they found him.

Simba sat at the entrance to the cave, staring out of the Pridelands. He was troubled by the leopards. What did they mean? "Kind"? He looked back at Adofo and the cub.

[Adofo]

*Adofo starts gently petting the young cub*
Adofo: I know. But don't worry, they won't hurt you while you're here! And what did they mean by "kind"?

He shouldered his hand away and sulked. Haramu looked towards Simba, whose head was tilted slightly as he waited for an answer. the cub sighed quietly, looking at Adofo.
"Where I come from, they don't appreciate things like me. They want to keep their species 'pure'."

"Species?" Simba became interested and he stepped inside. "There's different kinds there? Like..."

"Lions, leopards, tigers... You name it."
