A friend and I are going to do a comic together to help us improve our drawing skills. We aren't going to get started for a little bit, though, since we are both ridiculously busy, but I'm practicing drawing my cubs since I seem to be cub-challenged, and our charries are going to be TLK-style cubs. So, since you all are wanting me to post something, here's the closest to decent sketch I've done. I'm jsut doing some design/practice sketches to help me get used to drawing cubs and help develop my character. I know in these, she looks a lot like Vitani, but that was entirely coincidental. I'm actually hoping for something of a more Nala-like appearance with a funky hairdo ; I just haven't figured her out yet. That's what these early developmental sketches are for! Excuse the utter cruddy-ness.

Since you all are so supportive, I decided to crank out one more sketch. Feeling rather Christmas-y, and since adult Kovu is so much fun to draw, I decided to have a little fun with him. I like how this came out especially since I used limited refs for it. Obviously, there isn't a scene is any of the movies like this, so I couldn't have a screenshot to ref. Soo, yes. Enjoy!
