I read somewhere that Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff (directors) once said it was either Scar or Mufasa. And that they hoped no one would notice.
I know in human royalty there is a lot of related marriages. But I don't like the idea very much.
I personally like the idea of the rogue as the father much better.

Because of Nuka's lines in SP, I always thought he was Scar's son. (I should have the chosen one, Scar wasn't even his father and so on)
But I don't understand why Zira wouldn't want him to be king if she was so devoted to Scar's memory. It couldn't be just because he was a little scruffy lookin"?
