I've given in and applied for a credit card (the first I've had for 3 years), but I'm only using it for necessary expenses, never going above a balance of £200 and it's staying safe at home apart from when needed.

^ Have you ever considered an Overdraft? They are alot cheaper and some don't even charge for the first £100. Plus, it costs you pence to be in them each month. I was in mine by £510 once... It cost me £1.75 for the month lol xD

Bad: Going to be exhausted by the end of February... Good: I will be loaded by the end of it xD

^ I prefer not to use my overdraft, because it makes things complicated when I'm budgeting what is in my account. It's with my bank and there is 0% interest on purchases for 6 months, so it won't be costing me anything apart from what I spend. Only getting it because I need some business clothes for this course and to pay the travel expenses, which I claim back. If I can't stick to the rules I'm setting myself, then I'll stop the card.
