So... this has received a lot of attention (for one of my works) on deviantArt in the hour it's been up and so... I don't know what to expect here.

So here's the first page of my comic, Scar's Heirs. I've sketched out the whole prologue (though I'm too lazy to divide it into chapters in this format) and now I've finished the first page. I think it's pretty obvious, but this takes place at the end of the first movie, when Simba is confronting Scar. Since this is the beginning of the comic, I will let you know, yes, this is an AU in which Scar lives. But that's all I will say for now. Don't get used to the rocks in the background looking good, if I do that in every page, it's gonna be ages before I get them done. Also, yeah, there's no shading on Scar, that's also in the interest of saving time. I may or may not go back in and add shading or shade the future pages. I'm not sure yet. I guess it partly depends on how much interest there is in this.

The next page, though sketched, will be awhile, because I'm working on a commission, and I personally think that is more important than my comic.

So, I'm gonna say this at the beginning, and not repeat it all the way through unless it becomes necessary:
Most characters owned by Disney. Some lines are quoted from the films. I do not claim ownership or anything over these characters and phrases. Some characters belong to me, Julie Skywalker the story of this comic is mine.

Maybe you shouldn't shade the lions at all. Less weight on your chest and you can upload faster.
Maybe the storyline can change too so Zira isn't much of a madwoman cause she's not a widow?

Yeah, I'm not planning on shading them, just might happen at some point. xD

As for Zira, I follow the statement from Darrel Rooney (director of SP) that she is not Scar's mate, just a devoted follower, so to me she never was a widow. This story is already existent in a fanfic form, and therefore is already planned out, so you will just have to wait and see how this affects her.
