Zaq smirked, "Oh, yes, I slept quite well." When Gweir snarled a little, he huffed. "Just because you and Lyrea have a thing doesn't mean you have to jump in-"

No, but it means I can. Answer the question she asked and no more teasing.

Zaq rolled his eyes. "Don't really feel better, I never felt bad." Folding his arms across his chest, he looked the opposite way, taking on the appearance of an offended child.

So you've never had any meat? Ever? Eyulf gave Rhinnëa an unbelieving look, especially as she shook her head. You have not lived!

Rhinnëa arched a brow. The elves do not believe in killing Nature's children when her plants will suffice. She shrugged a little, her curiosity getting the best of her. What does it taste like?

He shared his memories with her of small things, like how meat tastes, how shifting into a wolf felt, and other things and she shared how touching Gweir had felt, memories of her village, and whatever else he wondered. By time she turned around in he seat, she no longer minded the mere inch between them, or his existence.

Rivera grinned at Zaq's antics.

Oh, don't be such a spoiler sport. As an afterthought, she added, I'm glad you feel ok. She was silent for a time, suddenly shy.

Great, she thought sarcastically. This is the perfect time to get shy.

Don't be shy! Nellas chirped in, making Rivera jump.

'Be quiet! And mind your own business!' She snapped, annoyed.

'Its just Zaq,' he sister whispered, leaning forward. 'I mean, you did sleep with him!' Rivera sighed as Nellas laughed.

'Honestly,' the older girl muttered. 'You are so incredibly immature.'

'Where do you think I get it?' Nellas replied cheekily, lightly shoving Rivera, who rolled her eyes, but smiled.

"Spoilsport?" Zaq gasped facetiously. Amusement crinkled the skin around his eyes as he tried not to grin. He placed a hand over his heart, "Never!" The grin broke out on his face as Rhinnëa snorted. "Well, Nëa, that was attractive!"

Rhinnëa arched a silvery eyebrows, "You know it was, Zaqad."

"You wound me." He replaced his hand over his chest.

"Good." This time, Eyulf snorted at Rhinnëa's reply. Zaq made a face at the back of his head then turned to look at Rivera.

"Looks like rain," he remarked, running his green eyes over the clouds. Most of them were a silvery gray, but a few were more ominously covered. Zaq watched curiously as Eyulf leant close to Rhinnëa whispered something to her as he pointed to something in the sky. She colored and knocked his chest with her shoulder. However, when she turned away, her lips were tipped up at the edges.

Zaq's eyebrows raised before he turned to Rivera again. I'd really hate if we all got wet. I bet Rhinnëa looks like a kitten wet: dejected and thoroughly annoyed.

She does, Gweir grumbled.

Rivera tried and failed to suppress laughter- she let out a single bark-like chuckle, instantly clapping a hand over her mouth.

'Thats mean!' She said disapprovingly, smirking all the same. And I doubt you look much better! She chastised.

'I don't want to get wet, and I doubt you guys do either,' Nellas pointed out. 'So what are we going to do about that?' She pointed up at the stormy grey clouds threatening downpour. Rivera groaned.

'We can go higher and get so cold icicles attach to everything... Or stay here and get wet and cold,' she called, pulling a dejected face. 'Neither option seems particularly alluring.'

'We could cast spells to keep us dry?' Suggested Eldárwen weakly, but before she was finished, Rivera was shaking her head.

'Too tiring. What do you reckon?' She asked Rhinnëa, who she hoped wasn't preoccupied.

Rhinnëa's lips were still twitching from Eyulf's quiet compliment, but she furrowed her brow and looked around. "We could put blankets over ourselves..." A grin broke out on he face. "Very imaginative."

Zaq tipped one shoulder up in a shrug. "Yes, very."

"Or Gweir and Lyrea could fly around, it does look like a small storm. But I've been wrong before. I think it's mainly up to the dragons." She patted Gweir on the neck lovingly. "Or we could just get wet."

Lyrea's choice, Gweir replied slowly, trying to hide his coy tone.

It doesn't look too big. We may get a little but wet, but I believe we can fly around it. That is, if you don't mind being delayed temporarily, Lyrea conceded. Rivera shrugged.

'Thats fine with me. Lead the way.' She gestured vaguely away from the clouds. The dragons turned slightly, now on a different course, though they were perfectly level, flying next to each other. Rivera smiled, wondering what they were talking about. Gweir was quite the gentleman- if a dragon could in fact be described that way- towards Lyrea, and it was becoming increasingly obvious about his affections towards her. Not that anyone really minded. It was refreshing- and relieving- to see such a close relationship between the two, was what Rivera thought.

She was uncomfortably aware that she should probably re-initiate the conversation between herself and Zaq, as Gwier and Lyrea busy chatting, along with Rhinnëa and Eyulf, and Nellas and Eldárwen. And yet she almost didn't want to- she felt like it would bring hell down on them both, along with everyone else.

Shut up! She muttered to herself. Despite the loneliness that was now creeping up on her, like some unwanted monster, she stayed silent. If he says something, I'll respond. If he doesn't, I'll stay quiet, she decided.

Zaq shot Rhinnëa and Eyulf a dark look. The two's strange reconciliation was disturbing, and it robbed him of someone to argue with. Of course, the way Eyulf's hands subtly crept around Rhinnëa's waist and the way she leaned back towards him was even more disturbing than the whole 'holy crap, she's speaking to him' thing.

Zaq shuddered, then rubbed the side of his face on his shoulder, casting Rivera a sideways glance. Would she...?
He resorted to openly staring at her.

Soooo...He cast about desperately, looking for something they had in common. What kind of sword do you have? Lame.

Oh! Rivera said, interested. Its a hand-and-half, black bladed and called Adurna. It has served me well, she informed him. Warming to her subject, she carried on; I had to make the pommel and hilt myself. The blade and guard were a gift, from my father. At least, he left them to me, so he obviously knew I would find Lyrea. I wonder how, she said thoughtfully, drifting off slightly. Sorry! She said suddenly, realising she was being rude. What about you? What weapon do you favour?

Her hand had automatically fallen onto Adurna, curling around the gilded pommel. It had no particular design on it, but twisted and twirled like a moving force, like a river. The hilt, too, followed the same pattern, but was shaped to fit comfortably in a hand.

Already, the storm could be felt brewing. It put Rivera on edge, making her uneasy. I don't like storms, she thought.

Zaq grinned. My father gave me my weapon too. It's just one handed, I prefer a shield, but it'd probably be hand a half for you. It's short for short range. That's probably why Rhinnëa kicked my ass, she had more leverage. He smiled at her uncomfortableness. If we could be on the same dragon, I'd hug you, but...plus it probably wouldn't be wise to separate Rhinnëa and Eyulf.

He raised a brow as he observed Eyulf leaning over Rhinnëa's shoulder and her leaning back against his. Apparently she as showing him something. Excuse me, he said to Rivera, before flicking Eyulf in the back of his head. "What are you doing?"

"I just made a fairly of Gweir and I'm explaining it," Rhinnëa replied. She glanced from him to Rivera and a small grin appeared.

Rivera flashed a smile at Rhinnëa, a warm feeling in her chest.

I'm glad they're getting along. It would be much more awkward if they didn't, she told Zaq, but she suspected he already knew.

Small droplets of water began to fall, splatting in random places. One hit Rivera right on the nose, making her jump. Nellas, unfortunately, saw, and burst out into peals of laughter, until one hit her on the forehead. It only took a few seconds for it to turn into an outright downpour, making both girls curse furiously. Their clothes got soaked quickly, and their bags were getting damp.

Can you get out of this faster? Rivera asked Lyrea.

We're going as fast as we can, Lyrea said, flapping her wings in large strokes to demonstrate her point. But we'll be through this in a few more minutes.
