Today has been the worst boxing day i've ever had. I had to have Tosca, one of my rats put down this morning and when I went to retrieve her from the cage I noticed Lightning was also looking really bad. She's struggling to breath and has mucus coming out of one eye. The vets given me some medication for Light, but at the moment it's not looking great. I've put her in her own cage and managed to get all her meds down her neck, but I am 50-50 on wether or not she'll make it through the night. Dren did this to me once, but she got over it in a few hours where as Lightning has been like this since 9am this morning.

I am so scared.... She's only a baby and I can't lose her aswell as Tosca in the space of 24 hours =( Why is life so freaking unfair sometimes ¬_¬ I love my rats more than anything. I wish I could take all her pain away and inflict it on myself. Come on Lightning... Please get better <33333 Sleepless night for Shadowfax. I also had to go round to Ez's parents earlier to collect my spare cage and that made me feel nostalgic and crappy too. He came with me to the vets, which I really appreciated.. But it also in a way didn't help.

Ugh.

Sounds good, mamaprince. Are you working on art requests? You know I do encourage you to do so ;) Don't give up.

@JulieSkywalker: You know, your video-editing business reminds me of my writing, web-browsing business. People are always interrupting, and I lose my train of thought.

@Arbystrider: You don't know what you expected? What? Why do I always have to de-code you because you speak in code!? Sheesh, can't you be simple for a simpleton? As for me, I did predict that you'd search for mention of your username, so I know what I expected. I expected you to find out that I've strangely mentioned you in a few posts of mine. I'm a creeper ;)

@Shadowfax: I'm really sorry about your rats; it's so good to hear that you love them so much, though, because at least there's someone in the world trying her best to help those rats! I pray for your Lightning.

I really hope your rat gets better. I know how sucky it can be to have a pet that you really love and cherish be sick. Just keep positive and don't give up hope. Sounds to me like you're doing all you can in your power to help her get better.

Just as well that I covered that shift the other week. By the time I get home tonight, I will have spent about £40 on taxis the last few days. So glad I'll be working in town next Christmas, it'll be a lot cheaper and easier!
