The hyenas are my favorite characters in TLK. I think they are adorable, especially Ed.

The hyenas aren't particularly my favourite characters (that would be Simba:D) however, they do play vital roles involved in the murder of Mufasa and the er..death of Scar.

However, I do have a question is Shenzi the leader of the hyena pack? I've always thought so, along with Banzai and Ed..she seems to be quite dominant.

^Yeah, Shenzi is the leader, because in hyena packs, the female is the dominant one. Shenzi also seems to be the "big mama" character with the hyenas. ^^
