I find it surprising that I'm the only one here who believes Simba is the better King. Come on, Simba had to deal with civil unrest that Mufasa could only fear in his dreams until Scar assassinated him. Simba had to deal with a schism and a civil war and with the help of the rest of the royal family, found a way to resolve it peacefully. But hey, just my opinion.

I will admit that I prefer Mufasa to be a better King than Simba and Scar.
Simba didn't have any proper training and although that s brave in itself, that he is having to learn as he is the monarch of the Pridelands, Simba doesn't really act with the sort of wisdom that you associate with Mufasa.

With Scar, well...er...I think he got a wee bit power hungry. It happens to the best of us and if his idea of lions and hyeneas living together in harmony worked then maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. But still, I don't think even then, he would have been a better King than Mufasa. Although intelligent, Scar wasn't precisely wise as he let the hyenas have free range over the Pridelands and the consequences was that everything was destroyed.

So, too sum it up..Mufasa is the better King.

I vote neither. We don't really see much of Mufasa's reign at all, other than the time he spent with his son. I don't think we know enough about his rule to make any fair comparison with Simba.

Yup, people might ave noticed that I totally think Mufasa is the greatest King that's ever existed. In fact, I don't think that after Simba's death he'd be able to come back in the same way that Mufasa did. Mufasa is special in that way to me.
