The Outlands Story

[Panda-chan]

Vitani came to a sudden stop. Her senses were tingling. She could sense someone nearby. She forced herself to go stiff and listened hard. Her eyes widened. She could hear breathing!

Huru saw that Vitani heard something,so,he put his head on his paws and hide before one big stone in the cave.

[Panda-chan]

Suddenly Vitani detected rustling in some bushes near a cave. Quickly she crouched low to the ground and crept up to them, just as she'd seen Zira doing. The rustling was getting louder. Then suddenly, a bird flew out. It flapped it's wings hastily and darted off.
Vitani issued a sigh of relief. It was only a bird! She got up and went on her way.

Huru walked in to the center of the cave."Thank godness."he said to himself.

[Panda-chan]

Meanwhile, Zira was doing some plotting in her cave. She was starting to believe Vitani's story, that Huru had been talking with a Pridelander. It was perfect bait for her to kill Kopa! But first she had to find Huru. Without him the plan would never work. Vitani was a good tracker, but she was only a cub. Zira needed to help her find her son.
Reluctantly, she got up and after pausing for a moment in hesitation, she padded out of the cave and into the morning sunlight.

Huru started to thought.But now my mother wants to kill Kopa!But she needs me!No,I'll not show up to her....He closed his eyes.Kopa is my friend,I'll not let my mother kill him!.

[Panda-chan]

"Oh, this is hopeless!" Vitani cried in frustration. "I'll never find my stupid brother!"
In her anger, she kicked a rock and immediately felt her paw swelling red. She bit her lip in pain.
"Now what use was that?" a voice taunted her from a tree. Vitani spun around to face whoever had said that, but she couldn't see anyone.
"Who are you?" she called, but she got no reply, only a dull humming noise that she decided must be laughter. Her chest heaved in rage and she let out the biggest roar she could muster in the hopes that she could scare the creature into coming out of it' hiding place.
"Temper, temper." the voice crowed, and the leaves above her started to shake. Then out of the foliage popped a small green bird.

Kopa walked back from his parents and he saw Vitani.He walked up to her."Um...Hello?"he asked,smiling.

Vitani nearly jumped out of her skin. When she recovered herself, she quickly crouched into her defensive position.
"Alright, Pridelander. I'm giving you three seconds to tell me where Huru is, or I'll make you wish you'd never met him." she growled.

Kopa quickly realized that Vitani is talking about Huru.He looked at her and said"Huru?I don't know him and I don't know who he is..."he said.
Huru heard Kopa and Vitani talking.He was glad that Kopa didn't tell Vitani a secret about him.
