Some of you may have read my intro topic were I mentioned I make my own TLK storybooks.
( I have a lot of TLK books but none I really love, the story is sometimes cut short, bits are left out, not enough images or wrong images, wrong colors etc.)
I am planning a new one, which will hopefully be my ultimate version. I'm just gathering all the images I want to use together, the text is pretty much the way I like it.
Basically I start out with the script, I read through that, making notes about the text and images from the film that come to my mind while reading and later I tried to find images that match that feeling. I use coloring pages, but I have also used screencaps and scans from books (the Sotheby's art catalogue is great for this).
I'll use this thread to keep everybody interested updated when I start the new book.
Meanwhile, I found a Lion King folder in my PB-account which contained some work-in-progress scans from a previous version and some scans from the folder of images that went into that one.
I hope you guys will enjoy them!
