Jetix anyone?

Jetix anyone?

Postby TLKcrazer » November 28th, 2013, 9:10 pm

Ok sorry if there's already something about this but oh well

Does anybody remember the channel Jetix? I used to watch it but then it was bought by Disney and became Disney XD, I think.

Any shows you watched there that you'd like to talk about? I think there was Power Rangers, Totally Spies, H2O??? (can't really remember whether that was on Jetix) Was Witch on there? My memory fails me...

There was also this show called Galactik Football, that stuck at the back of my mind for years until I decided to rewatch it :D It's actually pretty good, and very unique! Both in plot and the style that mixes two different types of animation together. The 3D graphics are really cool too :)

So yeah, anything?

oh god this this was a god send. it used to be FOx Kids adn jetix was a 2 hour section with.. i guess you could call them 'action' shows. Eventually Fox became Jetix and had nothing but. Power Ranger, Galactik Football, Heavy gear.. just lots of awesome stuff and it became cosntant. The rest either died out or seemed to move to Cartoon Network. Either way I would love to see Jetix return

Well, technically, Disney rebranded Fox Kids as "Jetix" and placed on their prime-time slot on the cable channel, Toon Disney. Until 2010, Disney rebranded Jetix as Disney XD.

Honestly, I don't have too many fond memories of Jetix since I was more into the morning and afternoon lineups of Toon Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and when Disney Channel was still watchable. I think I did watch some of the older Power Rangers series (Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, etc) for nostalgia's sake, and that was about it. I still beat myself for not watching Batman: The Animated Series or Pinky & the Brain, but thankfully, they can be watched on the HUB Channel nowadays.
