Sarafina deserves more?

I personally think Sarafina deserves more than one line. Her character is still a mystery in a way, especially her past.

Of course she does!! =\ I mean, its not fair that she only got ONE line. And then her daughter ended up being a main charrie later on. No backstory to explain Sarafina.

I think there should have been a scene like this, but without Sarafina telling Nala about the Great Queens of the past...but instead something like...

All the lionesses say how worried they were and Nala saying she hopes she can play with Simba tomorrow...but of course...she doesn't get to see him again untill he's an adult.

That would have been an awesome and touching scene Annie, if they had placed something similar in the film.

As to the topic, yes..I do feel that Sarafina should have gotten more character time as we do not know much about her. Unlike Sarabi, Sarafina's only line is ''Hmm..what do you think Sarabi?''
Really that implies that she can't think for herself or that she's looking for some advice before passing her own judgement.

In Simba's Pride at least, Sarafina has more of a Grandmotherly role and input.

Still I'd have liked to have seen more.

I’d like to think that Sarafinas one line is not because she can’t think for herself, but because she wanted to show respect for Sarabi. Sarabi is afterall the Queen, and her only cub is the heir to the throne.
Sarafina probably wanted to check that Sarabi was OK with her cub going "somewhere cool" before permitting both cubs to run off.

I totally agree with PrincessKiara!

She seems to be a loyal friend and very respectful!

But I do think she should have had one or two more lines...ofcourse, we wouldn't want her input on everything throughout the whole movie
