Silver rolled out the way to avoid the falling sword and with Rahks voice ringing in her ears, she leapt to her feet and sliced the captains head clean off his shoulders, spattering her face with blood in the process. An eeiree silence took them and Silver looked at Rahks, giving him a smile and a nod of gratitude for saving her head back there. With her blade still in hand, Silver slowly turned to see Farkus standing there, looking at her in awe.
The pair locked eyes for a moment, Silver's eyes shining with tears and Farkus' expression stern, but not uncaring. Neither could speak, and Silver was finding it difficult to turn away. Then she felt it. A stabbing pain in her shoulder. The Nord cried out and collapsed to her knees as an arrow embedded itself in her flesh and nearly came out the other side of her body. Farkus looked around for the attacker.
"You've got some damn nerve" Came Aela's voice.
She was holding her bow, an arrow notched and ready to fire again as she aimed at Silver's head
"Good... to see you too...." Silver managed to say before rolling onto her side in agony.
She had lost too much blood in a short space of time and the dizziness began to make her feel sick. Farkus looked down on her through eyes of stone. She and her comrade had saved his life, but with Silver a wanted criminal and for bringing dishonor to the companions, he was struggling to find any gratitude.
"You gonna try and kill me?" Silver mocked Aela.
"Im not going to try. I AM going to kill you" Aela growled.
Silver's eyes clouded over. Was she really going to die right here? What would happen to Astrid? The Brotherhood? The Sun Legion, her daughter? She couldn't die yet.
"No. These two saved my skin. Let her die from her wounds, she won't last long with that arrow in her shoulder" Farkus remarked, now looking away from his wife.
"Farkus" Silver began.
This time however, Farkus rounded on her and placed his sword under her throat, just like she had done to him three years ago. Silver felt so vulnerable in that moment and so powerless that she wanted to crawl away and hide.
"Don't... Just.... don't" He said, punching her in the side of the face giving her yet another swollen cheek.
"I wouldn't stay with this one long. She has a habit of breaking your heart and abandoning her friends" Farkus called to Rahks.
