So, after three weeks of waiting, I call the place that is ordering in my new monitor. They say that they don't normally do that unless you pay for it there, on the spot.
I thanked them for telling me that three weeks ago when I first ordered it in, and hung up.
They call back saying they have one in stock (which I assumes is/was the one on display) that is put aside for me, cheaper than normal.
Yay, complaining!
