Septimus raises an eyebrow.

"Room? Share a room with YOU? You must be joking, Ramzy..."

He notices his annoyed expression. "Getting a little touchy are we?"

Rowen looked around and shrugged. "Thank-you, it is, but it's such a bore being a lady." She rolled her eyes and grinned playfully, bouncing on the bed making it shake.

"Well, you know, I'm not exactly keen on the idea myself, but I'm going back to the house. Follow me if you want." Shaking his wavy brown bangs, he turned and dashed back towards the house.

Septimus raises an eyebrow and grins to himself, getting him annoyed was SO easy.... A twig snaps behind him. He turns to look and sees Issabelle.

"What the h**l are you doing here?" He snaps.

"I was about to ask YOU the same thing....Look," she sighs, "I can't stay alone here...I feel like I'm going mental..."

Eden grinned, and joined in. In the end, they were having a competition to see who could jump the highest, when they heard someone was just about to come in. Instantly, they dropped down, and pretended to talk. Eden couldn't suppress her grin; she hadn't had a female friend in- well, ever.

Elijah looked around the room, bored. Why hadn't Eden stayed with him? The answer was obvious; she wanted a friend, and he would never begrudge her that. Still, he was slightly annoyed, not least by the ringing laughter floating through the halls that was obviously his sister's.

Septimus frowns, but eventually gives in.

"They wanted us to stay in the house..."

"ha! you can forget that..." She exclaims.

"I figured you'd say that..." He grins.

Rowen sighed then giggled as she slid onto the floor. "I hope Elijah isn't too bored without you." She grinned then frowned. "Oh! I left something downstairs!" With a peek in each direction of the hall, she slipped down the corridor in her corset and pantaloons and slid down the banister.

A mortified gasp escaped from her lips as Ramzy entered the front room just as she did. She froze for a moment, staring at him, before curtsying quickly and darting from the room.

When she returned, she peeked around the corner and seeing that he was gone, dashed up the stairs.

"Oh. My. Heavens," she giggled, collapsing on the bed next to Eden again.

'What did you do!' Gasped Eden, having sensed Ramzy. 'You can't be serious- you didn't do what I think you did-?' He jaw dropped as her newfound friend nodded. 'No!' She gasped, howling with laughter.

'I'm glad they're having fun,' Rivera muttered, motioning to the sound emitting from Rowen and Eden's room.

'Annoyed?' Rotan said gracefully. She shook her head.

'Just tired. Like- like, it's not my head, or body that's exhausted, but almost as if- as if it's my soul.' Rotan nodded gravely.


'I understand,' he said quietly, folding his wife into an embrace. 'Rest,' he whispered. 'You'll need it.'

'Well, we can't just sit here all night can we?' She sighs.

'Depends on how you think about it...'

'What do you mean by that exactly?' She frowns.

'Well....we could....but, I'm not exactly one for company....'

She raises an eyebrow. They both sigh.

'Me neither....I mean....' She starts.

Rowen colored a little then submitted to her pressing urge to laugh. "It was soooo awkward! I curtsied, Eden-in my undergarments!" She shook her head and collapsed back on her comforter. "I need help," she sighed, then flipped over and propped her head up on her hands. "Sooooo...?"

Ramzy shook his head. If Daelyn ever found out he would mount his head on a silver stake. The witches would be the least of his worries.
