Vitani turned away from Fadhili and strained her eyes for any sort of movement that might mean there was something to hunt. She took a couple of steps forward and tilted her head in a confused manner and also a curious one. She was confused as to why there weren't any animals around that the two of them could hunt, and she was curious because she wanted to know the reason for there not being anything to hunt. Something must be causing this. For now though, they would just need to keep looking, or just stop entirely and go off to do something else. Giving up wasn't how Vitani did things, though, so she turned back to her friend and walked towards her again. "What are we going to do now? Keep looking? We could just be wasting our time, but what else can we do to pass the time?" she asked. Even if Fadhili didn't want to keep looking, Vitani would still go off on her own to try. At this rate, though, it didn't seem like she would be able to find anything...

Vah felt something warm dripping down from his cheek, but he didn't do anything to try and find out why it was, as he just felt too weak to do anything. The only movement he made was to tilt his head and look up to Kiara who was standing above him. It was only when he did this that a jolt of pain suddenly struck him, forcing him to let out a sharp cry of pain and to pull back from Kiara. Vah's breathing and heart beat began to quicken again. She slowly brought a paw up to his injured cheek and touched it very lightly, immediately yanking his paw back from the injury and yelping in pain. "Kiara... Vah began, only whispering her name. "This really, really hurts..." he finished, trailing off at the end as he stared up into the sky, still breathing quicker than normal. He now knew that he was losing quite a bit of blood and he straight away regretted going for that Wildebeest.
