I guess I've been lucky, but I've never gotten any crap for being a MLP fan or a furry... even in real life! Only people who I don't care much about have cared. My family and friends just think it's fine. My 78 year old dad's reaction to me watching MLP: "That's cool! Nothing wrong with that."
I don't get it. I'm a huge geek and have never been bullied for it, even at high school. I don't know but I think people just find it "quirky" in me or something instead of lame or pathetic. I've gotten more crap for being in a technically "gay" relationship than anything else.
And enjoying Disney doesn't make you a furry.
