Thanks guys. Tbh, I'm so used to life being this way that I kinda feel like I'm making a big deal about nothing. I have a short 3 hour shift tonight, so I may talk to one of the managers when it's over.

Currently I'm whining about being hungry so shortly after lunch cos I don't get to eat again for like, 7 hours.
@Rollo I've applied at many places that have been hiring, these guys are the only ones to have even given me an interview recently.

If I could just do customer service, I could apply to more places and might end up with some less horrid employers, but that hasn't worked out for me thusfar. I do look for other openings, but of course I can't be sure that wherever else I go will be better either. The crappy thing is this is my third job and it's the best one I've had. :ugh:

@Niña It's not legal here either, but I've heard most employers do that kind of thing round here. If you work six hours you're supposed to get a break, but on the weekends I've been working 7.5 and 8 without one because "if it's not on the schedule, you don't technically get a break," in the words of one of the managers.
You could, y'know, take a break anyway. They're not going to fire you if they're already low on staff.

My mom said we'd be going somewhere, but turns out it wasn't what I had thought she meant. Miscommunication sucks. :?

What am I whining about? Oh, god. Everything.

Hopefully a day out with a good friend will clear this muddled head of mine.

^ And the rest of us in similar situations are scared because a collapse of free movement is compromising all our dreams as well.

^ This is the sort of painful trainwreck where you can't help but watch as chaos continues to unfold.

I'm disappointed, but I'll be damned if I don't say I'm pretty damn intrigued because even if this isn't a change I wanted, it's definitely a change in politics I haven't seen in a while.
