I feel like my "social skills" are dropping and that the person I am in online interactions is no longer that similar to who I am in real life interactions. The thing is...I used to be pretty much the same person in both places. :oops:

Since the beginning of this semester, it appears I've started struggling to keep a good conversation with someone and I've quickly become a real life definition of 'awkward' and 'shy':
> I often don't know what to reply to people;
> I find it hard to find a subject to casually discuss;
> I tend to repeat myself and stutter, because I fear I'm not myself clear enough or simply saying something "meh";
> During a conversation, the thought that what I'm saying is "meaningless" or simply "boring" crosses my mind many times;
> As someone who enjoys physical contact, I struggle to understand how much physical contact the person I'm talking to allows and often end up "going too far", due to habit;

This honestly bothers me, because I feel my self confidence dropping. I know that this isn't a "self-pity" thread, but this is truly what I'm whining about right now... :busted:

^ Most of those are things I've always struggled with. Except the physical contact part. I kinda don't make contact with people unless we're SUPER close, but the rest I find very familiar. Dunno how to fully overcome it, but I have found that remembering you're awesome and haters gonna hate goes a long way.

I've only began struggling with those recently, like I said/insinuated, so I can't say much about it. I hope I can find a way to overcome it, but, yep, you're right: We're awesome. :highfive: Thanks! :D

I don't like that for some reason I feel kinda anxious that my brother thought the way my parents and I were messing around with my cousin earlier was stupid (we were calling ourselves TWD characters, that's it, and it was just for fun, and to tease my cousin, nothing stupid about it).

Also, what's bothering me more than that is... it's almost 5:30 am... I'm bored out of my mind. I am not tired. But everyone else seems to be asleep or busy. And it's hot in here. I'm so bored that I absent-mindedly gnawed most of my fingernails down to the quick and am now just removing loose skin from my lip with my teeth. Help.

I love it when my brain reminds me how stupid I am over things I've done that no one else probably even remembers by now. Amlhgslmahs I wish I could forget things like that.

Spoiler: show
Gaaah I hate it when people bring up discussions about future plans and you remember that the job market in the country you're in is so terrible you might as well slit your throat right now and save the wasted effort of 4+ years of higher education schooling for nothing but debt and either unemployment or terrible minimum wage jobs for the rest of your life lol. :)
