The way I've had the most success is to train yourself to look at T-shirts, then look away, then look back. In real life they won't change. In dreams they do! :3

So If you can make it an unconscious habit to glance away from a T-shirt when you see one and then glance back, it will carry over to your dreams and then... put 1+1 together. ^^

It's the same way with that for quite a few things. For one, books sentences will never be the same everytime you look at the same sentence, it changes. But Az's idea actually sounds a lot more reliable then attempting to look at books. Also, you have to do reality checks throughout the day. Supposively, rubbing your hands together is one of the best methods. I've been using the one where you close one eye and see if you can still see your nose, rubbing hands together, amoung a few other odds things. I'd honestly suggest NOT going instantly trying the WILD form, because it is a very intense one to begin on, if your not experianced, you can accidentally put yourself into Sleep Paralysis, which means the rest of your body is asleep, but your mind is conscious. Honestly, try MILD or Autosuggestion first, which is what I'm doing.

But before you attempt to Lucid Dream, it's best you try and increase your dream count to at least 1 per night. The most effective way of achieving this is by giving yourself a small reminder before you go to bed, and then if you remember a dream, TRY TO WRITE IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. Other then that, look around on the web. Try to not try anything to risky, Lucid Dreaming is pretty safe, but I'm sure there are methods that can put you into danger.

I lucid dream often, I've trained myself that way. They're pretty amazing things. Anything is possible in a lucid dream. ^^
INCEPTION!
At least for me, my lucid dreams are not like Inception: that is, I can't change them at will. I can alter the dream, but most of the time, I simply "enjoy the ride". Being aware of the fact the I am dreaming, I treat the dream as a movie, or maybe as a video game - entertaining and safe. But as far as I can remember, I can't spawn a car just because I want to, like in the movie.

I've WILD'd before and gotten brief sleep paralysis, it's pretty freaky. It only lasted a few seconds, but my whole body just went limp in the chair and I was like ohnononono and then I went into a dream. :3

Well I've been able to predict the future all my life, so ya I have had Lucid Dreams. I'll make random things happen in dreams lol. And by random, I mean Fairy's kicking a T-Rex's butt. (Lol when I was 5. :P ) The only time I'm not aware that I'm dreaming is when I'm having a nightmare. Every single time I always feel like it's actually happening which is not fun. >_<

About the predicting the future thing: It's small stuff like what my family talks about at tomorrows dinner table and stuff like that, then it'll happen and I'm always like 0_o' "Uh... ya. Ya sure." lol just small things like that but it's pretty cool to know what we'll be talking about ahead of time so I can actually think of answers to stuff. I'm not that witty of a person lol.

^ That's pretty sweet.. I've actually gotten that deja vu feeling before, I've dreamt of small situations in dreams that happened later in life. It's odd.

I'm so dumb in my dreams that even if I see something that makes no absolute sense at all, I still believe it's real and barely have any control of my thoughts and actions.. which is probably why I never questioned logic in my dreams. I hate my brain.
