In other words, the Bible is the most hypocritical piece of writing there has ever been. It says God gave everyone free will, yet the Bible persecutes gay people. Sure, I'll admit there are some good moral teachings in there, but they're nothing more than stories with no solid evidence to back them up.

You know the one person that would be disgusted by these ideas? The carpenter from galilee, the jew. Jesus Christ never said a word about homosexuality. He did however condemn the hurting and persecution of others. Many Christians are so unlike their Christ, because if they would be, the world would be a better place indeed

I think that one day people will show shame that they said that aids is there to kill homosexuals, and that aids is not as bad as condoms.
I mean what kind of moral teaching is that? And how many people are going to die for such dogma?

And I will say it: the peope who teach, preach and practice this are responsible for the death, suffering and misery of millions of their brothers and sisters. And there will come a day when they will admit shame for it.

It isn't nice to tell someone they are --as Stephen Fry put it-- "an evil morally disordered individual". It really isn't nice, ladies and gents in 2012. Maybe it was normal in the dark ages, but not today.

There are many things I am ok with. Persecution is NOT one of them. And Jesus Christ would agree with me.

You see now I am not an open supporter of gay marriage, but if we really break down the bible we shall see that God does not hate a man for the sin he commits. God hates the sin not the man. If God hated man for what they do, he would have never sent his perfect sinless son down to save us. Jesus did not condemn men for their sins. He instead paid the price for them.

He told us as Christians "Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Matthew 26:52
"Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" Matthews 26:53
"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven." Luke 6:37

He illustrates the point that we are not God, and that we are not here to judge others or take God's will into our own hands. God has the power to stop everything and everyone. You know why he doesn't? It's because he loves each of us so much that he sent each of us here with a purpose. Christians who take Jesus's teachings to heart will realize that we are here to help people come to the right path not force them. We're not to take into our hands God's will. God will show them the path to redemption. God will set them strait in time. We're not to stand in the way of free will; something which God has given us. Let them marry if they wish; God uses even the dirtiest of sins to set a man straight.

In Romans 1:26-27 Paul is very specific, “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.”  In 1 Corinthians 6:9, Paul wrote, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.”

I am not saying all people follow this. Because obviousy there are Christlike Christians like Tora. However, and I am sorry to say it Tora, many of your fellow "claim to be" Christians are indeed not Christlike.

In May 2005, shortly after taking office, the pope made his first pronouncement on Aids, and came out against condoms. He was addressing bishops from South Africa, where somebody dies of Aids every two minutes; Botswana, where 23.9% of adults between 15 and 49 are HIV positive; Swaziland, where 26.1% of adults have HIV; Namibia (a trifling 15%); and Lesotho, 23%.

This is continuing. In March 2009, on his flight to Cameroon (where 540,000 people have HIV), Pope Benedict XVI explained that Aids is a tragedy "that cannot be overcome through the distribution of condoms, which even aggravates the problems thus increases the chance of getting infected with the HIV virus". In May 2009, the Congolese bishops conference made a happy announcement: "In all truth, the pope's message which we received with joy has confirmed us in our fight against HIV/Aids. We say no to condoms!"

Why would God create STDs to kill gay people? If he didn't like gay people, he wouldn't have created them to begin with.

And that's completely ignoring the fact that STDs can be transmitted between opposite genders.

Evolution is a theory which is supported by significant evidence. Occam's razor would lead us to believe it is the most correct.
