I honestly think that Obama is going to win solely on the basis of him being the incumbent, and that Romney isn't right for the job. Raising taxes is no different than cutting tax cuts. Either way people aren't going to like it.

I'm confused. I'm pretty sure the last thing Romney plans to do is raise taxes.

Maybe I'm wrong but all I have heard him talk about was not raising taxes but to cut tax cuts. :?

I don't think so, not the Bush-era tax cuts at least. He's rock solid on keeping taxes low.

About the Republican National Convention? If that's what you are referring to?

Well, not one incumbent president since FDR has re-elected with over 7.2% unemployment. Unemployment in the United States is currently at 8.3%. It'll take a miracle for Obama to get re-elected.

I certainly hope not. I mean I hate all politics and politicians, but Romney is... well, I don't want him to be elected.

Bold words, TLP. The numbers show Obama just barely ahead, so I wouldn't say it's a miracle.

On what grounds do you support Romney?

In other news, things like this destroy modern conservatism...
