Is it true that Schools teach English in Europe? So many people speak English from an early age over there. Is there anyone that speaks German and Dutch who could tell me what the similarities of learning the two languages would be? If I continue learning German how easy would it be to learn Dutch now?

(I'm glad to hear that! Not everyone is capable of learning Portuguese in a high level of fluency. Levi, according to what I know, Portuguese and Russian share many words, although they're not exactly the same in their written form.

Yes, it is. At least in Portugal, English is taught from the 3th grade (option) or 5th grade (obligatory).
I am studying German in university and self-taught Dutch, with the help of a native. Usually, if you know Dutch, it is easier to learn German and vice versa. Yet, the German is more complex and complicated than the Dutch one, so the last may be easier to learn.
