I'm absolutely shocked that any Pixar films or traditionally animated Disney films were mentioned here! Even if the plot is a little dull, the animation, at least, is always pretty much top-notch. Like, I don't like Disney's Pinocchio at all, but the animation, character designs, and music are really good so I wouldn't put it in a list of the worst...y'know?
Anyway, some that come to mind:
- Alpha and Omega (horrible character designs and animation, boring plot, overall just a weird movie)
- Barnyard
- Hoodwinked
- Shrek the Third (we really didn't need another one. Animation isn't that bad but the character designs tend to range from odd to unnerving...just look at the positioning of Donkey's eyes on his head...)
- Shrek Forever After (come on guys, this is getting ridiculous)
- Puss in Boots (as far as Shrek characters go, I do like Puss in Boots. And visually, this movie is pretty nice. But it seemed like another unnecessary Shrek spinoff and again falls into the category of "just a weird movie".)
As you can tell, I do have a little something against DreamWorks...hahaha.
I know there's a lot of animated movies that, judging from their trailers, are a lot worse - Planet 51, Gnomeo & Juliet, Hotel Transylvania, DELGO, cheap-looking foreign films like A Fox's Tale....but I haven't seen many of them. I should really make a point of watching more mediocre animated movies.
And the obvious ones:
- The animated Titanic movie.
- Piper Penguin and His Fantastic Flying Machine
- Spider's Web: A Pig's Tale
