Agreed. But then, I also agree with Flip's statement that if you take a life, yours should be taken from you. An eye for an eye, a life for a life. Of course, with legal systems like the one we have here, a murderer sentenced to death might live out the rest of his life going through all those appeals they get.

well, I have to disagree with that. killing a killer wouldn't solve anything, even if they deserve it. Not saying they don't deserve punnishment, but executing them would be hypocrisy.

True, it would be. However, we are surrounded by hypocrisy, and I think it's slightly different to take the life of a [presumably] innocent person than to take that of a murderer. In my opinion, killing a murderer is justified hypocrisy.

This is such a sad thing that happened, I don't know how a sick man could do this, it's not right. Really makes me hate humanity. I hope the families are coping, this is horrible.

Buffy, I'm so sorry that happened! I hope you're all okay about it. >.<

Yes this very sad, and terrorism doesn't know any borders.
But I can't stop thinking about this: aren't those people firstly mad and wouldn't need help, so they could go in the right way? Instead of letting these people boiling in their madness, why not at least try to help them?

Do you seriously think an entire nation who just lost a bunch of their children would be willing to help the crazy man who did this?

I didn't pretend so. And yes this guy deserved to go in jail, but I think that if these are helped before they commit their crimes, we could avoid these kind of tragedies.

Well yeah... But then again, I doubt he shared his plans with everyone he knew. I mean, if I had the mental issues he had, I wouldn't tell people about it, I'd just strike when I was able to, which is what I believe he did. I mean, it was so unexpected. There was no way in knowing this was going to happen.

Well we knew that this guy was a shooting game addict, and also shared his fanship to Nazi ideology.
You pointed out the problem of my theory: how to know if someone will have mental issues in the future? Well even if I don't have the answer, I'm sure that there's a way to find it out.
