TLK being back in theaters has put me in a total fanart mood. <33 Ffft, you'll be seeing lots of it soon. :B

Before I went to see TLK 3D (which was amazing btw!), I asked for canon art suggestions. :D QueenSummer replied and said I should draw Simba with Sarabi. I've never drawn Sarabi before and thought a pic with her would be fun, plus I wanted to draw something with characters from the first movie. So, here's a cubby Simba with his beloved mother. :3

I worked harder on the background in this pic than any other picture to date and I'm really pleased with it. :lol3: Hopefully you'll see more detailed bgs like this in future pics too.
