I was recently told that someone on TLK Source is impersonating me. http://www.animationsource.org/lion_king/en/fanart/&ong=1&numg=22818&deb=90&display=0&deb_gall=0&ong=1&deb=0&display=18 They've uploaded a lot of my older pictures (even bothering to put the same title/artist comment) and registered a majority of my original characters. I wouldn't be as angry as I am, but they're replying to people with false information and pairing off my characters to other people's random OCs. Overall, they're acting like they're me! D:
I'm not sure if anyone who follows me here actually has a TLK Source account but this person is NOT me! I only have 4 sites that I actively post my art on: devArt, TLKFAA, here, and Tumblr. If you see my art or a profile claiming to be me anywhere else but those sites, it's a fake!
I'm only posting this journal here because all of the info they were reporting seems to have come from here, at least the info they posted for my OCs were. They've been reported so hopefully their gallery will be gone soon. <3 |
I'll be going to The Lion King 3D next weekend! I was suppose to see it this weekend but ended up going to "Contagion" instead for bonus points at school. :B
Anyway! Before I go see TLK on the 24th, I'd really like to draw fanart. Only problem is, I can't think of what I'd like to draw. So, I'll be leaving that up to you. xD You can leave a suggestion for a TLK fanart piece, I'll pick one lucky request and draw it out by next weekend. 
You can request Canon or Semi-canon characters, however, I won't be drawing any OCs with TLK chars. If you wanna request a certain scene, it can be from any of the three movies or you can simply say which characters you'd like to see me draw. Either way, I'll only be picking one to turn into a full picture.

I've received a lot of interest in the two cub adoptables I posted here, so much so that I figured I'd open applications for the two of them here as well. If you're wanting apply for one (or both!) of my adopts and you don't have a TLKFAA account, make sure you let me know you've drawn a picture by either leaving me a comment on my front page or this journal here. I'll leave a short comment on your application to let you know I've seen it. c:
If you do have a TLKFAA account, I'd much rather you apply for the cub(s) you want and send me your picture through that site. That way I'd be able to keep up with the applicants easier.

I have a contest running on devArt, so I figured I'd advertise it here too, just in case anyone would like to enter.
The Contest
~ComicScribe (from devArt) and I have decided we'd like our king cheetahs to have a few cubs. I promised I'd design the cubs, only I thought of something better...why not hold a contest, that way the cub designs would be totally out of my control, sorta like in real life. c: So that's where you guys come in. Design Sandaa and Tara some babiez!

- Tara and Sandaa are expecting 1-3 cubs
- Because both parents are king cheetahs, the cub(s) MUST be a king cheetahs
- One cub must be male
- The parents have picked out the name "Dume" for the male

There will be between 1 - 3 winning designs. The winner(s) will receive:
- Their design used as a character
- A 2-week feature in my devArt journal (if you have a dA account)
- And first dibs on any character design from any future point adoptable batches I hold. (which I usually sell for 50 devpoints)

Hey guys! Just a quick update this time around. ;3 It's not even all that important.
My OC section here will be under a bit of "construction". I added several characters who are still in need of character info and a profile pic. I'm usually not one to add a char unless I have everything finished and ready to post but these remaining characters are the last so I figured I'd go head and set their profiles. After I finish these, I'll have profiles for every single char I currently own, aside from those I use in my comics.
So yea, don't mind the mess! It'll be all fixed up by this summer. <33

Hiya! I know I haven't upload here in awhile, but I haven't forgotten about this place. <3 I've been busy trying to teach myself how to draw humans as well as working on an off topic comic, so I haven't had much time to work on TLK related stuff. c:

I just realized that my last journal update here was back in June '09, just before I left for vacation! xDD Well apparently I've been back for awhile and just forgot to write something. 
Anyway,
I've started uploading pages for my comic Keystones. Pages will be updated on Fridays/Saturdays every 1-2 weeks. Believe it or not, it takes me about that long to finish. xD I may be requesting a few character designs if anyone's up for that.

I'll be gone from Sat. Jun 6th until Wed. Jun 10th on a weekend camping trip. <33 Unfortunately I don't get internet while I'm there, so that means no pics or replys to comments for awhile. I'll probably be online early Saturday since we aren't leaving until the afternoon.
I also won't be workings on any trades/commissions/requests while I'm there since I won't have access to the digital refs I need. Hopefully though, I'll have lots of real media stuff to upload when I return.

So you've probably noticed by now that I'm doing reference sheets for all my characters, no matter which gallery of mine you watch. Sad thing is, not once have I finished them all with out giving up about half way through. This time I'm determined to finish a ref sheet for every single character I have.
Main point of this journal is, you may see me upload quite a a few boring ref sheets before I get around to doing more detail pics. ;3 Good thing is I only have 3 weeks left of school, so I'll have all the time in the world to finish refs during summer and get to more exciting stuff too. =3
MLKFAA is starting to be an awesome place to hang out too. I'm already lovin' uploading here.

I've been drawing and uploading my pics online since Jan. 2007. I'm certainly no stranger to online art archives. ;3 I've been on TLKFAA going on 2 1/2 years now and deviantArt going on 2 years. I enjoy drawing cats and the like the best so I'll probably upload here quite often.
Although I've uploaded a few pics here, I still have many more pics on my others galleries. (I'm closing in on 850 on TLKFAA) I'd recommend go checking them out if you enjoy what you see here.
