I finally got my entire collection in one place. Here it is. You will probably notice that there is a lot of text. I didn't want to spare anyone the boring details. Let's begin...
Let's start out with the crowning jewel in my collection. Just opened two days ago, here is the Diamond Edition BluRay-DVD Combo of
The Lion King. I attempted to purchase this back on Black Friday but Wal-Mart was sold out. My mom was able to purchase the movie online for the exact same deal. She kept it until Christmas morning to use as one of my presents.
The cover slip is on the left with the actual case on the right.
Next we have
The Art of the Lion King book. A close second in terms of the best of my collection. I purchased this from Ebay for the deal of a lifetime and had it shipped to my grandmother's to use as one of my Christmas gifts. If I haven't gotten that good of a deal, this could have been my only Christmas present from her.

This is the stuffed Simba plush that Wal-Mart had for sale for $20. I bought it last month and it has remained in the closet ever since. Let's just say my mother may not approve and I haven't found the best way to tell her about it.

I have a great amount of Lion King books. I suppose that's what you get when you spend hours upon end looking for the
Six New Adventures stories at used book stores. I was lucky to find
A Tale of Two Brothers (left) at one such place, but they had apparently sold the others. This was made up for by the fact that I GOT IT FOR FREE! The cheapest price Amazon has for this book is
around seventy dollars. On the right is
64 Page Lion King Novelization by Gina Ignoglia. It has several scenes not included in the movie. This book hasn't been scanned or transcribed to the internet. These two are probably the most rare books I own.

This is the book
Pal Patrol. I own two copies of this. Each having a different cover design. Maybe one is a "Special Limited Edition"? LOL. Probably not. Anyway, the story is pretty good.

Here are six different book versions of the first movie. None of these are any new stories, but every single one is slightly different. I checked the first and last lines of the each book and none were identical. Clockwise starting from top left:
2011 Little Golden Book (adapted by Justine Korman) - Bought at Wal-Mart last month at the same time I bought the stuffed Simba.
1994 Golden Book (adapted by Margo Hoover) - Purchased at thrift store.
1994 Book on Tape (no author listed) - Originally packaged with cassette tape which was unfortunately missing when I bought it at Goodwill.
1994 Grolier Book Club Edition (no author listed) - Bought at Goodwill.
1996 Little Golden Book (adapted by Justine Korman) - Very similar to the 2011 Wal-Mart except the last paragraph was rewritten to change the male cub into a cub of unknown gender.
Disney Classics Edition (adapted by Kate Hannigan) - Bought at thrift store.

The four on the left are various Simba's Pride books. Clockwise starting from the top left:
Simba's Pride Full Circle Coloring Book - Mostly colored in, but I bought it because Kovu doesn't get his eye scarred in the story section of the 84 page book.
Book on CD - Contains screenshots from the film, no original artwork. Did not come with the CD/cassette.
2000 Grolier Print - Kovu is missing his scar in the final scene of this book. Something I like considerably.
1998 Golden Book (adapted by Eric Suben) - The best book of all of them. Once again Kovu doesn't have his scar. The CD on the right is
Lion King II: Active Play - Basically a computer game

Various Lion King 1½ Merchandise. Left to right:
2004 Random House Book (adapted by Christopher Nicholas) - the artwork in this one reminds of anime.
Lion King 1½ DVD - This will probably prevent me from purchasing the Bluray when it is released in March 2012.
2004 Scholastic Book - the artwork more closely resembles the film than the first book does.
Original Lion King StoriesFirst row, left to right:
The Brightest Star - Again no tape.
Simba the Fortune Teller.
Way to Go Simba!Second row, left to right:
Simba's Pouncing Lesson,
Simba and Nala Help Bomo,
Roar!,
Simba and the Big FloodThird row, left to right:
Zazu's View,
Friends In Need - I apologize for the camera glare.
Nala's Game - Pretty cute

This is the Lion King Golden Sound Storybook. It's electronic and you can press the buttons to make sound effects.

Miscellaneous Lion King books. Left to right:
Simba and Nala at Play - short board book for babies.
Lion King Coloring Book - Surprisingly unused. I apologize for the camera flare.
Can You Find the Difference? - Just what it says on the tin.

Some outdated pieces of technology. On the left is the
1995 VHS Release. My mom actually sold my copy at a yard sale, so I had to go get this one at Goodwill. Luckily, when I went to check out, the cashier said I could just take it. On the right is
Lion King Soundtrack Cassette. I don't use this because all my copies are digital. Special thanks to my friend for mailing that to me.

On the left is a Lion King wall hanging from Michael's measuring 11"x14". On the right is a full page magazine ad for "Lion King Storybook" that appeared in the November 28, 1994 edition of Newsweek. The wall hanging is covering up part of the magazine.

Last but not least, we have some very small items. The left is an unused Lion King stamp. The right is an unused sticker for "Festival of the Lion King" (which is part of a pack of 4 Disney ride sticker). I have
four three copies of the sticker packs. Sorry for the glare, again.
Missing ItemsLion King Puzzle - Was located at my aunt's house, but she can't find it. I suspect she threw it away by accident.
Entertainment Weekly Cover - Had Simba on the cover (source of my avatar), but unable to locate it.
Simba's Pride VHS - Not in any of our old videotapes, so I'm at a loss.
Items I No Longer HaveOriginal TLK1 VHS Tape - Sold by my mother in a yard sale
