| Well hello everyone! I was re-reading some of my past journal entries and sort of... cringing? I just thought it would be nice to have a more current one to show I have matured the slightest bit. My art is improving, I think? I dunno, you guys will have to be the judges of that aha. |
| Okay, so... could you guys clue me in on what you use to draw? Like programs and devices, I'm not sure and I want to ask for something like that for Christmas. I hear things about digi-pens and whatnot but I'm oblivious to what they even are. If some of you could tell me what you use and how you use it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 3:) |
Hi guys. Sorry for the inactivity on the FAA's, I've been working on my drawing technique, plus school back in session and a lot of other things so I've had my hands full the last few weeks, but I'm still on the forums everyday. I just wanted to say to everyone who's not active on the forums I'm usually on, and see how everyone's been. Right now I'm getting annoyed at allergies because they've started, so that's what I've been bugging about  But...yeah, I just waned to let you FAA people to know, no, I am not dead, so don't hold back on DM ing me, because I am still active. | Okay, so i was on Animation source for lion king, and i was very surprised to see on " Must See" Fan-Fics a Kiana! exact same spelling and even the pronunciation under it was how you pronounce mine! I about had a heart attack.. Its nobody from here, must be an insane coincidence or something. But it was seriously creepy. I scooched my chair back, turned around and let out a gasp. Its just scary! So i guess I'm to forget about it? He! never. xD This is something else i swear!! |

Part 2
Sharu had trouble sleeping that night, he thought of all that had been going on. he found a way to get to sleep but morning came too quickly, he laid for a while. until he heard a voice calling his name. "Sharu. Sharu.."
he looked up to see a face, he awed at a very large lion with a black mane. "Come, my son" due to his large appearance he obeyed, and quietly walked with him.
"I see potential in you" he said sitting down at the top of pride rock
"you do?"
"yes" he continued
"you will grow up to be a very large lion, with power. I am here to teach you how to use that power, for good."
"why? "
" Because, I had a son, his name was taka, and he had a great gift, but that gift gave him power, but jealousy took over him, and he used it for bad, and ultimately made him loose that power, and destroy him. I want you to know how to use your power.
Sharu sat in silence and awe of it then spoke again "your gonna mentor me? The lion shook his head. Lessons will start at noon. he walked away leaving Sharu there, alone. wondering about his upcoming lesson. and if he was ready.
Noon came by very quickly, which was a little scary and Sharu was... well, not ready |
This is Sharu's story.
Its was a cool autumn day, Kyliana was out on the edge of the Pridelands, looking if another lion was around to play with. being so young she was sure to get in trouble but she didn't care. out of the corner of her eye she spots a male cub a little bit away on a rock sleeping. She went over to get a closer look
Sharu always likes this spot to sleep, shields him from large birds and predators. He happily slept until a loud and obnoxious female cub woke him up. :hey, wanna come with me? I can show you the Pridelands!" Sharu was tired and didn't wasn't to, mostly because of her being so nice. he backs up against the rock, cautiously asking "why are you being so nice to me?" she laughed and responded "Cause you look nice to talk to!" she motioned him to walk with her, so he did.
As they walked, Kyliana noticed he was very dirty, like nobody had bathed him. she also noticed he walked with his head lowered and was acting very glum. she asked him about it and he told her he had no family, she felt bad and tried to reassure him but he turned away. they got back, it was dark so they went into the cave. she showed him a place he could lay down, and told him she would introduce him in the morning.

This is part two written by me! I made it so it merged in with Labatis's part!
Once a dreary day gone worse, There he stood. Again. Claws are begging him for something to tear at. Just not to long ago your own pride says your to "Hostile" and "Dangerous"! Well, In his opinion, they just lost their strongest lion!
Rulu had learned that prides could be pretty rude, he was kicked out of one as a cub for being to rough that didn't help his "Issue" evidently! He scanned for animals to kill, but (of course) saw none. He started walking until a strange object block his path, it was a log going across the river.
He was very confused now because his side was just rocks and shrubs, the other side had grass, trees water and animals! It must be a pride, he thought, he could over take it and claim it as his own! A large rock covered the area way back, if he could get up there, he could scan the area for food, and maybe even a mate! he carefully crossed the bridge so he didn't fall in, this was gonna be fun!
He half ran across giddy for his overtake, until a black maned lion blocked his path. "Who are you?" He asked, Must be the king. Rulu was not going to let one male lion steal his glory! He lunged at him, tearing up as much as he could. And tore him up pretty good he did! A little bloody for his liking but... Oh well! He smiled satisfied with him self.
He had some blood on his paw, hard to see since it was dark, so he quickly flicked it off He glanced and saw a young lionesses face, perhaps he wanted to be his mate? He shocked a smile again, maybe a little too evil though, he was caught surprise when she crouched down snarling, I play fight? Rulu realized is was not when she lunged at him
He tried to pry her off but her teeth sank deeper into his skin. His strength was dramatically weakened by the previous lions back lash. Eventually her grip let go, giving a chance to escape deeper into the pride. Not directly to the rock, he would be caught for sure, so he went a little to the left and planned to go behind it into a back cave. She was concentrated on the lion, so she didn't see him run into her homeland. He hoped not all the lionesses were this strong! |
This is a head - cannon for Kyliana and Sharu, explaining my last pictures. This part is all credit to Lepatis with a few changes, next part is a back story of Rulu ( the killer) leading up to it! Thanks again Lepatis!
Kyliana had a crush on Sharu, always glancing at him while she walked through the pride. She'd blush, maybe hint at the fact she had a crush on him, but he wouldn't really understand, and instead put her in the ''friend zone''.
She still tried her best to protect him, but eventually gave up on trying to show her feelings for him, yet they were still strong.
One day, when Kyliana was returning from a hunt, she caught the scent of a rogue. The scent trail led to the pride, and from where she was, the scent was already stale. She dropped her catch, panic rushing through her. Something had happened, and whatever it was, without a doubt, wasn't good.
She rushed towards Sharu, seeing him on the ground unconscious. Right behind him was a male rogue, as dark as the night sky. His eyes seemed to glow red when he gave an evil glare towards Kyliana, flicking off blood from his paws.
Kyliana looked down at Sharu, tears welling up. She was scared, and yet disappointed in herself for failing to protect the one lion that meant the most to her, despite the fact he may not have even liked her back.
Adrenaline flowed through her, and she angrily went after the rogue. The rogue, of course, was not expecting this. The Adrenaline gave her more power, or at least it felt like it. She dug her claws into the rogue's pelt, biting and nipping him in several places. He was already a little weakened from Sharu's defense, so with Kyliana attacking him with such rage, he had to give in. Such a small pride wasn't worth the risk of death. Then he ran.
With the rogue gone, Kyliana calmed down, her attention fully on Sharu. His wounds were deep, and though he was breathing, it seemed like he wouldn't be waking up for a while.
She picked him up with the last of her strength and carried him to the top of pride rock, away from all the animals that could hurt him more and if the rouge returned, would be spotted beforehand. She spent the rest of the night with him, hardly getting any sleep
.
The next morning, she gave him food to eat, in case he were to wake. She repeated this process for days, until a couple of nights later.
She had strong belief he'd make it through, constantly pleading for him to wake. On that night, she felt exhausted, but caught the very second Sharu's breath got stronger. He was waking up!
Sharu lifted his head, which was throbbing. He still felt great pain, but a smile was brought to his face when he saw Kyliana. He could tell she was there for days, seeing the piles of food left for him.
"..Thanks." He spoke weakly, giving a smile. |
