I do drama after school every year and this year's play is The Lion King!  Since this is my last year at my middle school, I auditioned for Nala, because I've never auditioned for a large part nor gotten one in the past years. So anyways, my audition song was Shadowlands, and it must have gone well because our teacher had me stay late to perform with a couple of the other girls who had done an AMAZING job! She will post the cast list Thursday or Friday, and I can't wait to see which part I have!
Now I'm going to complain about how mY CRUSH ISN'T DOING DRAMA CLUB THIS YEAR?!?! And according to some of my friends, this one boy who likes me was giving me this weird look while I auditioned... I don't like him... he friendzoned himself and I can't change that for him...

As you probably can tell by the title, I'm going to share my ideas, questions, and thoughts on "The Lion Guard".
First off, I noticed how Kiara's friend, Tifu, has a pelt and eye rims strikingly like Nala's. Is it possible she could be Mheetu's son? Most versions of Mheetu are basically a male version of Nala, and she sure does look like Nala. It's possible. But now I'm going to totally rethink my theory of Mheetu being Vitani's father... Whatever lol.
Also, what the happened to Shenzi, Banzi, and Ed? Were they too scary? Because I noticed that the animators pretty much cute-ified all the characters. Bleh. That's part of it that I'm not a huge fan of.
So that's what I think of the movie, and feel free to share your thoughts on it too! =3 |

Blergh. I want to upload some of that good ol' traditional art, but, I get to blame my stupid scanner that won't scan!!! I was munchkin-free for the majority of this week, so, I designed a new character! I might upload some more artwork later, I want to re-design Rasi. Sort of. As in "re-design", I mean change his mane style to match Simba's. Also, Ican't upload next week =,( I will be on a plane to Virginia at this time next week. So, I was thinking I would upload something on Friday! I am then headed off to Wisconsin, where 2/5 of the munchkins live. However, I think there will be a 2 day gap between those trips. (The 22 and 23? I think.) So I will upload a little then, too =D.
So, to sum up that big old paragraph, I will not be uploading at the regular time. however I will still upload at least once a week.

In my country, we celebrated our independence on the 4th Of July, and I didn't get a chance to draw or upload due to basically having to babysit my cousins. We went to the neighborhood swimming pool yesterday and my little 7 year old cousin shoved a beach ball up his swim-shirt and asked, "Does this ball make me look fat?"
"No, it's the fat that makes you look fat." My other cousin replied.
Eventually, I pried the beach ball out from under him, and we began playing a game he called, "Bloody Dolphins" It works like this:
All my younger cousins clinged to me in the pool (All 5 of them!) while screaming,
"YOU'RE A BLOODY DOLPHIN!!!!" At the top of their lungs (right in my ear!!!) Then, after that affair, we went home to watch the fireworks. One of the munchkins (as I like to call them) had a red, white, and blue 2 ft. top hat on. She ran around yelling,
"I'M THE CAT IN THE HAT WITH A RED AND YELLOW RAT!!!!!"
while another ordered,
"WATCH ME HAVE PUBERTY!!!!!" I wondered if the 5 year old knew what, 'puberty' even meant...
Anyways, that, my friends, is why I did not get a chance to upload. MAYBE I will upload something today, if I have the energy...

Hi there! Honestly, I had a pretty boring week. I went to the dentist. No cavities, woo woo! This week, I wanted to upload some traditional art, but I am obviously doing something wrong /: cause I put the art on the scanner (I tried face up and face down!)and it said the picture was loaded up, but the page was blank. I'll work on fixing that!

This will probably waste your time, but my hamster, Fluffigus, is having his 1/2 birthday on the 12th! I git him for Christmas, and I don't want anything to steal his thunder on his birthday, so, it's June 12th! I'm putting together some Alvin & the Chipkmunks songs for him(they're rodents.... I think...) and of course, "The Hampsterdance"! You would be surprised at how many videos there are showing you how ti make cakes, cookies, and doughnuts for your hamster! Also, I will turn a cardboard box into a play pen and lots of other stuff, too!
School ended on Thursday! Woo Woo! I am quite happy that 10/12 grades on my report card are A+!
After school, I had a flute lesson on Thursday from my math teacher, as usual. Not sure if I'm happy about that or not. I like flute, but IT WAS SUMMER MAN!!!!! lol

I literally JUST got back from camping!!!! Sorry I don't have as much artwork as usual!  I will be posting some, but not right now, maybe in a few hours or tomorrow. Anyways, I have completed all the art trades that have been requested, and I'm still waiting on what to draw for a few, but I don't mind, in fact, half the time I can't decide what I want he other person to draw, so I just say "surprise me!" or something. I get it

This week, I posted my half of an art trade with... IRI!!!! (clap clap) I, personally. think it is REALLY fun to learn to draw new characters! This weekend, I don't have any extra-curricular activities, plus, it's Memorial Day weekend, so I get Monday off, too! So, I will have more time to draw! And be sure to look out for artwork on Monday too! Hopefully I'll get to post one then!

Kijinga was very concerned because she was already expecting cubs "Excuse me, sir, but what if you already have mated?" she inquired "Well then, you will not be able to raise the cubs for a punishment." He declared. "Mkali is already going to soon have cubs, and Ganda is searching for a mate, those are the ones who have gotten my permission to find a mate." Meshaunti told them "My king," Kayo continued "Could I mate with a lion?" she asked "Fine, but then, no one else can mate in this pride from now on in this breeding season!"

Ok, so Ganda, her, the one with ice powers, if you're reading this then you probably know who she is. So, she needs a mate. I'm having a contest to see who can come up with the best design. If you don't really want to draw a mate for her, any ideas for names?

So I'm play'in with my buds and then, this mean girl is there. She's acting nice enough, until suddenly she shouts "Violin! Violin!" random, right? Then, they all run away from me! So, I just try to catch up with them, but she keeps shouting "Violin!" and they keep running away!
Later, I hear her and one of my friends saying "Ok, now let's think up a new word for 'run away from Kayo' "(I don't want to say my real name) then the mean girl tosses around some ideas, but I can't stick around, because by now, I'm in tears.
So then, I walk up to them during lunch, when they can't run away from me and I say "I know that 'violin' means 'run away from Kayo' " she (the mean girl) looks me in the eye and said "No, it doesn't !"
She continues the "New Run-Away Word A Day" thing until Thursday, when I ask my friend when the mean girl is with other people what this is all about. She doesn't give an answer exactly, but pins it all on they other girl. "She's making me do this! I don't want to, but she is!" I will not believe her! She makes up the new words because she wants to, from what I hear, the girl who seems to hate me just casually asks her "Wanna make up a new word for 'run away from Kayo?'"
Also, my REAL BFF died.  he was only my guinea pig, but I've never lost a pet before, or a friend.
