The Lion King Collection is an album that was released on March 8, 1999. It consists of songs that are inspired by The Lion King and The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. Though most of the songs are in the movies, some are in the The Lion King On Broadway, but some are also on the album Rhythm Of The Pride Lands as well as songs that aren't put in full in the movie, but are there in their complete versions on the CD (Example: The Lion Sleeps Tonight).
