Spotty is an Outsider lioness and part of Zira's pride. She was named by fans in 2004 for what first appeared to be a series of dots under her left eye, similar to Dotty (who has a series of dots under her right eye). However, when the The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride Blu-Ray was released, the much larger screenshots made it clear that Spotty's spots weren't spots at all, but a wavy line instead.
