The '''Pride Lands''' is the main setting for all three Lion King movies and for spin-off books, comics, etc. In the Pride Lands, a lion rules as king (called the [[The Lion King (title)|Lion King]]. The Lion King keeps the peace between the animals. When a Lion King dies, his eldest son will usually take his place.

The Pride Lands are inhabited by the [[Pridelanders]] for the entirety of The Lion King movies, books, comics and other media. In The Lion King, the Pridelanders considered leaving because of a shortage of food under [[Scar]]'s rule, but when Simba returned as king, things returned to normal.
