I'd always thought that being a TLK fan wouldn't mean I have to be a furry. I like TLK because of its story in general, the feels it invoked, and Nala's character. Not so much her physical appearance (which is undoubtedly excellent), but her character.
I find the idea of a fursuit to be largely impractical (based on a quick eBay skim, they cost a lot, and they look like the kind of thing that would be difficult to wash and put on, and I don't want my dexterity to be impaired), although aesthetically cool, but I think side accessories like furry ears and clip-on tails are neat IMO. I'm not against fursuits in any way, I just don't think they're the thing for me, and that I like detachable tails and ears more.
