TLK trilogy returns to Disney Vault April 30th 2013

Sucks that the only place you can get the box set here is ebay.

And the Special Edition/Diamond Edition for all films all up is about $50 then what the box set is.

And I'd prefer it if the box set didn't have a big U on the front.

Well time to buy the Trilogy box set I have been putting off buying.

Yeah that was my point really. It's not just that the film is going in the vault, it also means things like the trilogy collection are going to be hard to find or expensive soon after. It's more of a note for fellow TLK collectors

Edit; I should mention this information came from a leaflet in the Peter Pan Blu Ray, I can get a picture if you want but I assume most people here believe it lol (it has been in print for a long time now to be fair)

Last summer at a local grocery store, I saw the price for the 2012 release of TLK 3 Blu-Ray/DVD combo, going for $30-$35 USD !

Thank goodness for online marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. You can get a brand new copy for around 50% of that here in the USA. And that's exactly what I did through Amazon, and my copy is in perfect condition. Of course, when I received it, the seller had bought it from Wal-mart , but eh. The copy's awesome, and I saved my dollars. If not, then I wouldn't have been able to show these great-looking Timon images here, like on my avatar and sig.

Also, not everyone shops online, believe it or not (younger members here probably can't even) so they should probably buy it from a retailer while they can, yes?

As an adult, I take the smart route on stuff like this. For teenagers, I think it's best they consult with their parents on helping them buy stuff like this online. But heck, when I was 17, I already had my own credit card. I think this legal stuff is different in other US states and countries.

Either way, current teenagers on here are gonna know what it means to spend your own money wisely when it comes time . Trust me, I know a lot of you will eventually learn what it's like to keep it. That is, if you haven't already.

I was already aware of that TLK movies were going back into moratorium in April, anyway. I really don't believe in the "Disney Vault", because I'm sure you can purchase the Blu-Ray and DVD copies of their movies on Amazon or eBay.

That's exactly right TLP. It's just Disney trying to "quik milk" the movie franchise as much as they can like that. No other film studios that I've seen, does something like this.

It's just so that they can keep the prices up high. They really only end up hurting themselves though.

The Disney vault is just an anti-proletariat way of creating artificial scarcity, which for multiple reasons does not work nearly as well as it used to.
