Okay so i just watched episode 10: Keep Calm and Flutter On. It's in a spoile for people who havent seen it yet!

First of all THE TITLE <3 A fluttershy episode! Yay! but then, Discord. I love Discord and Im so happy they brought him back. BUT. They have ruined my favourite MLP villain and made him good? Discord being good?? I just... wai did you have to go and ruin Discord??

I saw it yesterday and I did like it, but I do wonder how Discord is gonna be like now that he's good instead of evil. Hmm...

On one hoof, I really liked the episode because Discord returned. On the other hoof, I really hated it because Discord isn't really Discord anymore. I still haven't made up my mind yet.

I understand the message the writers were trying to convey, and I think there is a lot of truth to it, but to use Discord as that character seems a bit... discordish, relative to that character's behavior.

I would be happier if this was Trixie's second episode, and Trixie's second episode was actually Discord's second.

Discord only wanted to wreck havoc, hence his name. He would be the kind of character to use an evil amulet.

Trixie wasn't evil, she just wanted everyone to suck up to her. She would be the one to be "manipulated" by Fluttershy in that way.

I loved the episode because ive always had a soft spot for villains. They are always very lonely characters. But I don't like that Discord seemed to give in almost too easily. Having one friend isn't going to change your entire way of life like that.

I honestly believe it was a very good episode. I know it's a litle strange to turn a villain into a good character. However at the end when Discord said 'Im ready to use my magic for good.' He added ('most of the time') under his breath at the end. So I don't think Discord has truly lost his personality, because he definatly still likes chaos. He just has to control now is all. I'll admit I was excited and a little worried. Excited because two of my most favorite characters had an episode together. However worried just as everyone else because we might lose Discord. But the writers handled it well in my opinion.

I have to agree with that. Even though he did 'reform' in the end, there where still hints of the old discord. its not like he suddenly became all cutesy and celestia-loving.

A villain never dies. They evolve to encompass a larger role. Much larger than any hero. I think Discord's evolution has merely begun.

^ i have to agree with that. and it will be interesting to see what he does in the future.

Did anyone see the new episode this morning? To be honest I didn't like it that much, but I liked how the writers sort of merged it in with "Just For Sidekicks".
