I think for a relationship to go anywhere, you have to spend regular time together in person. A purely internet romance can be nice, especially if the people are shy, but they rarely last.

So something that is a fact can be dispelled if you do not take it seriously? That's pretty rich coming from yourself.
For months while my girlfriend was in uni, the only way I could contact her without racking up huge phone bills was through the internet, so you will excuse me if I disagree with your statement but I happen to know for a fact its wrong.

This site? Hell no. The internet in general though? Sure.

I mean relations in which you don't actually meet... If you meet someone online and then meet up that's a whole different story.
