The leopardess laughed as Mio hit her across the face and looked Mio dead in the eye.

"You can't kill me. If you lay one more hit on me again... Your all as good as dead" The she-leopard teased.

Rayn rushed forward and made to swipe at the leopard.

Nova glanced from lion to lion. She was angry. Relieved. Confused. All those feeling she had for pride rock had re-surfaced and she stood there bristling as Simba and the lionesses were about to enter her lands. She had left that all behind, yet here they all were again. Nova felt like breaking down and as Simba mentioned Scar, it only made her feel worse.

"DON'T TALK ABOUT HIM! I LOST MY FATHER THE SAME WAY YOU LOST YOURS! You never even cared! You never even tried to help me fit in with the pride. Scar did. He helped me. You! YOUR NOT FIT TO BE KING!" She yelled, a silent tear running down her cheek.

She tried to collect herself and looked to the floor for the moment. Yes, her pride was at stake, but Shinova had only wanted to help. If she turned Simba away, she'd lose Shinova. If she didn't turn them away, they would be in her land and she would be forced to protect the cubs and Mio alone.

"I'll let you pass this time, but this is my land and I don't want to see any of you ever again after tonight. This is my new future. I want to cut all ties with pride rock"

Mio pushed Rayn back and said everyone dies. So can you, if you are so scared of death then you will always fear it

"Hold on there a moment." Shinova questioned with agitation, "Nova you told me you ran away from your real father. You told me he betrothed you and that you would become Queen of a land you hated. Secondly when did Simba even mention your father?" Shinova disliked the ongoing disrespect Simba, the only Lion that could save Nova, was getting.

Simba was angered at Nova's comment but didn't speak as he wanted to see what it was that Shinova was getting at. He was surprised at the maturity of Shinova not to mention the wisdom that he possessed. "Was this how my father was like?" Simba wondered. Simba's eyes fixed on Nova waiting for a response.

"heh! You don't know who your dealing with" The she-leopard growled as Mio spoke and hid Rayn from view.

"My mate will hear of this and you will pay" She growled, exiting the cave.

Rayn growled and made to follow her.

"SCAR WAS MY FATHER FIGURE! HE CARED ABOUT ME MORE THAN MY REAL FATHER DID! AND HE TOOK HIM AWAY FROM ME!" Nova yelled back at Shinova, annoyed by all of this.

She growled with annoyance.

"Go do whatever it is you have to do... I've had enough of the pride landers. I will never give him respect. You earn it, and I won't bend the knee to them." She said stubbornly.

Rayn no do not follow. He picked her up and put her on his back. He made sure the cubs were ok.

[Tora]

"So much anger and hatred. Clouded by privilege you never really knew the true Scar." Shinova replied calmly. Shinova could tell she was annoyed, but he knew she needs to let go of the past. She needs to move on, and stop holding all the resentment for Simba. Simba did nothing, but take what was rightfully his. It was Scar's undoing that caused him his death.

Simba roared with annoyance. "Lets get what we came to do over with. Nova is too prideful to realize what she is doing." Simba began to walk forward expecting the others to follow. He was tired of the battles with Nova. He only exiled her, because of her constant disrespect. He had not really minded that she was a loner and didn't help the pride much. He was so tired of the disrespect was the real reason he exiled her. So here she was showing nothing but disrespect again. "Father what would you do?"

Shinova began to follow Simba looking over at Nova in disappointment. "She'd rather hold resentment against the only one who could save her cubs. She seemed to love Scar more than her cubs." Shinova wanted to ask her the question so bad, but knew it would only end up in anger. "It seems you love Scar more than your cubs don't you?" He thought the question as he walked. He took one last glimpse of Nova wondering if she had anything else to say to his previous comment.

Nova caught Shinova's eye. She hoped he wouldn't lecture her later. Damn that cub.. He is too bright for his own good, but he is meddling in things he doesn't understand! I agreed to leave the pridelanders alone and live here without looking back, so what does he do? Bring them back here.. Nova sighed and turned, but as she turned the she-leopard collided with her.

Nova snarled and could smell the cubs and Mio on her. She gasped with cubs and bolted back towards the den, whilst the she-leopard ran straight at Simba and Shinova unaware they were there yet.

Rayn allowed Mio to put her back, but she growled with annoyance and got up again looking at Mio with determined eyes.

[Tora]

"Well what do we have here? A Leopard on our side of the line?" Shinova laughed as he saw it coming at them unaware of their presence. "Simba we aught to give it a little greeting. What do you say?" Shinova was in the mood to have a little fun with this one. "It looks like the very leopard that chased me when I was up in a tree." Shinova said.

"Oh? Then we shall give her a little message." Simba chuckled. "Everyone stay hidden except me and Shinova for now. You too Meeko go hide with Nala; she won't hurt you. Besides we need to give that leopard a nice surprise. You all come out when I say."

Simba and Shinova began to walk toward the leopardess that was coming their direction. "Well I'll be." Shinova yelled, "A leopard on our side of the line. Did you get lost?" Shinova asked sarcastically.

Meeko was hesitant to go with Nala, but she smiled down at him and he leapt up onto her back to wait for the leopard. Nala and the others hid in the bushes along with the others and watched as Simba and Shinova approached her.

The she-leopard skidded to a halt as the two figures infront of her blocked her path. She recognized Shinova instantly and snarled.

"Brat.. what are you doing here?" She growled, ignoring Simba.

"MIO! ARE YOU OK? ARE THE CUBS OK?!" Nova yelled as she leapt through the bushes and into the cave.

"Brat? Really? All you can say? My, my you really have a sore sight for the one who humiliated you. Look at you hiding behind that little tool you call mate." Shinova chuckled. "You like my friend here?" Shinova asked with laughter.
